Beautiful place to stay.
Pros:

We stayed 3 nights at Luna junior suite. The room was nice and clean and spacious. . And nice hot tub we did use privately. We booked a transfer from airport, and two tours. It was perfect. They take care of us very well.

Great place to stay in La Fortuna!
Pros:

This hotel was the perfect place to stay in La fortuna! It is clean, staff friendly, and the food is really good! The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars was they are doing some construction and started really early at 0630 am - which makes it a little difficult to sleep in. But other than that small detail, great place to stay! The pools and hot tubs are clean and it was never super busy. Lots of wildlife on the property too - we saw a bunch of cool birds and reptiles.

Clean hotel with friendly staff but nothing spectacular
Pros:

The staff was friendly, and the cleaning lady truly made our stay brighter—her creative towel creations made us smile every day. The pool area was very nice, and we appreciated that the hot tubs were secluded and relaxing.

Breakfast was good but nothing spectacular. There was a decent selection of fruit, bread, a few hot dishes, and an egg station, which was convenient but fairly standard.

Our quadruple room was functional, but it lacked some charm. There was only one nightstand, and the only light source was the ceiling light, which made the room feel less cozy at night. The windows were large, which was great, but since there were no mosquito nets, we didn’t feel comfortable opening them at all.

We also noticed that prices were comparable to an American hotel. Candy or a can of Coke from the minibar was around $4–5, and dinner dishes ranged from about $15–30. Because of that, we chose not to eat dinner at the hotel. Instead, we walked down to El Chante Verde restaurant, which was more affordable and had amazing food—highly recommended. Just be sure to make a reservation, as they get very busy.

Overall, a pleasant stay with friendly staff and nice amenities, but with some room for improvement in value and room comfort.

Great hotel
Pros:

The hotel is great: a large room with a terrace and well maintained. The swimming pool and various hot pools with jacuzzi are excellent and also open in the evening. Laundry service available. The garden attracts many birds. We saw hummingbirds. Breakfast in the hotel is great, dinner rather expensive.

Good hotel to stay if you are looking for something out of town Center
Pros:

Quiet and charming hotel in outskirts of La Fortuna. They have pool area with several hot jacuzzi’s and mini-pools. Spa and everything else what you can expect in area. Rooms are spacious, well maintained, everything in working order. You can buy tours at fromt desk, they are very knowledgable on what they offer and also looking for various options, not too overpriced. I really liked calmness of area and greenery around.

Casa Luna we'll be back!
Pros:

Casa Luna was a great place to stay in La Fortuna. Our rooms were amazing and the staff was very helpful in terms of what to do in town and where to eat. I recommend eating at Abuela Luisita right across the street.

Pros:

The property was clean but the gardens were not well kept. The staff was friendly but not very helpful. We stayed in the suite with the jacuzzi. We were told it would take 15-20 minutes to warm up; it took over 44 minutes to get to a jacuzzi temperature. One of my toiletry items went missing.

Pros:

This hotel was perfect for what we wanted. It is about a 3-4 min drive to the restaurants in town. Daily breakfast was very good, the spa was marvelous! We went twice for massages, the pool and separate jacuzzi’s were great.

I'm not sure I received VIP access.
We loved the restaurant's delicious menu, the beautiful gardens and the trails. We appreciated the care that was taken to make the trails safe for us. All the employees were helpful and sweet. We highly recommend this hotel.
We could have used some drawers to put our clothes in. That's our only concern.

Everything was good for the only thing that the pools have too much chlorine and that the cleaning person placed too much insecticide inside the room and is not good for those who suffer from allergy.

Pros:

Everything was amazing! We loved our view of the volcano. The staff was great. My friends did the massage spa and absolutely loved it! They could not stop talking about it. The bartender Daner by the pool was always great and friendly evwey time we would go over. Any question we had the staff did great at answering and helping. Would definitely stay there again.
