Pros:

beach access, kitchen/fridge, attentive staff

Cons:

the inside could be a little better in terms of comfort. better couch/larger tv set up, cozier flooring (a rug or something). the bathroom was very small.

Pros:

There were a few issues with plumbing in room 3, however, Meg was quick to handle it and change us to another room right away. Speaking of Meg, that woman is amazing. So friendly, knowledgeable and quick to assist. Hope the owner realizes what a gem he has in her.

Pros:

This place is adorable and a hidden gem in a quiet residential area across the street from the beach. The Manager, Meg, goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The rooms were spotless and super clean! Can’t wait to go back

Einfache Unterkunft, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, tolle Betreiberin, tolle Lage in Strandnähe.
Pros:

Die Betreiberin der Lodge war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Toll war auch, dass die Lodge Equipment für den Pool und den Strand (insbesondere für Kinder) zur Verfügung stellte. Tolle Lage in Gehdistanz zum Strand.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind doch insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen und eher einfach gehalten. Das Doppelbett ächzte bei jeder Drehung und war insgesamt unbequem. Das Wasser der Dusche war entweder kalt oder zu heiss, sodass normales duschen nicht möglich war. Das Zimmer hat nur dünne Glasscheiben und ist somit schlecht gegen Aussenlärm und auch schlecht gegen kühle Nächte isoliert. Die Lodge liegt direkt unter der Anflugschneise des Vero Beach Regional Airport. Wir waren am Wochenende da, weshalb abends viele Privatjets direkt und tief über das Gebäude flogen, was den Schlaf insbesondere unserer Kinder störte.

Fantastisch!
Pros:

We waren veel eerder dacht verwacht al aanwezig. Dit maakte de beheerder niet uit, ze stond direct voor ons klaar en hielp ons op weg. Ze had allerlei spullen die we konden gebruiken op het vlakbij gelegen heerlijke strand (strandstoelen, parasol enz). We waren persoonlijk heel welkom en voelden ons daardoor ook direct thuis. Heel erg bedankt hiervoor!

Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again
Pros:

The manager who took care of the property, it was quite, the room was clean, walking distance to the beach

Cons:

The frying pan was shot, the tub needed a new shower liner, the furniture on the upper deck was rusty dirty and some broken (needed to be replaced. The outside felt dirty. But the layout was very nice

Pros:

Die Anlage mit dem kleinen Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und auch die Dachterrasse ist gemütlich. Zudem ist es nur einen kleinen Spaziergang vom Strand entfernt.
Super waren auch die Erfahrung bei Check In und Check Out mit der super freundlichen Mitarbeitern vom Empfang (Entschuldigung, wir haben den Namen vergessen, Meg? :-))
Man merkt dass sich jemand viel Mühe gegeben hat aus einem alten Motel etwas gemütliches zu machen.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach und funktional und die Badezimmer klein. Zudem waren in unserem Zimmer Rattan Stühle, von denen ein sehr strenger Geruch ausgegangen ist. Es wurde besser weil wir sie über Nacht raus gestellt haben.

Gelungener Retro-Style mit herzlicher Willkommenskultur in Strandnähe
Pros:

Die hervorragende Lage (Fußweg zum Strand 5 min.) die tolle Ausstattung und Sauberkeit. Die gut gelaunte, höfliche und hilfsbereite Besitzerin Meg, die an so viel gedacht hat: es werden Beachchairs, Beachtowels, Schirme, Spiele, Boards, Waschmaschine, Trockner, zusätzlicher Kaffee etc. zur Verfügung gestellt - ohne Zusatzkosten. Das ist grandios.

Die Mühe, die sich hier gemacht wurde, das 50er Jahre Motel zu renovieren und passend auszustatten ist bewundernswert. Lediglich die Geräte sind alt, funktionieren jedoch. Den 50er Jahre Charme im Bad fanden wir toll.

Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut und nur im Schlafzimmer verfügbar. Da wir diese aufgrund der tiefen Nachttemperaturen nicht nutzen mussten, war das kein Problem für uns wäre aber bei mehr Wärme eines gewesen. Das Bad war schön, aber sehr beengt.

Perfection !
Pros:

We hunt out these wonderful restored motels when we travel for a week or more. Seaspray was as perfect as you can get. Making it beyond outstanding was Meg. She is a jewel.
