Plaza Madeleine Hotel & Spa

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Plaza Madeleine Hotel & Spa during our summer stay in Sarlat. Everything about the experience was close to perfect. The hotel’s location could not be better — right in the heart of Sarlat, just steps away from the charming medieval streets, lively markets, and great restaurants.

The service was outstanding throughout our stay. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, quiet, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The atmosphere of the hotel, with its elegant decor and spa facilities, made it the perfect base to explore the beauty of the Dordogne region. Both Sarlat and the surrounding area are simply magnificent — full of history, amazing food, and stunning scenery.

We truly loved our time here and would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Very close to the medieval quarter. Was able to get pay parking right in front of the hotel. Rooms were spacious.

Très bon accueil, très belle chambre grande et confortable, très bonne literie, petit déjeuner impeccable et bien fourni, spa en bon état.
Seul bémol, l'état de la piscine. Piscine a l'abandon, pas entretenu, sale, peinture vieille et écaillée, et le pire avec beaucoup de fientes de pigeons. Dommage car le reste de l'hôtel est impeccable, et agréable...

The property is fine. The bar was excellent, but we were told at the check in, that the breakfast was included and at the checkout, a very rude lady receptionist, told us the opposite. I don’t mind paying breakfast, but the attitude of the lady is not supposed to happen when you are in charge of a hotel.

Great hotel in downtown Sarlat. The staff were very helpful and competent, especially Remi. The location is incredible.

The city is magnificent and the location of the hotel is perfect!

Nice little boutique hotel, centrally located at the beginning of the old city in Sarlat. Clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. Rooms are adequate in size and the AC works great. Service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is €19 pp and probably not worth it for a limited buffet, but you're paying for the convenience.

Quite enjoyed this property, the location is perfect.

The hotel is wonderful, staff is extremely pleasant, the hotel is located next the medieval city, the pool is very nice, the only negative, is we felt that the rooms are on the small side.
