This is probably a review of two halves as my husband hated it and I loved it, however I am writing it. His problem started when his car was scraped by another one when heading round to the garage, however all is now well. It was also fiendishly hot, 36 deg, and the sun had been pouring into our room so he found the aircon pretty ineffective.
However... it was a truly exciting/ terrifying experience driving up into the old city round ridiculous bends into streets getting narrower and narrower. At the front door I hopped out with bags to the annoyance of pedestrians trying to get round the car, he parked and we checked in. Our room was pretty small as was the bathroom but for one night it was fine. It is also a 3* hotel so shouldn't be compared to the 4 and 5* Paradors we had been staying in. I wanted to be in the city which the Parador is not.
It is so close to everything and everywhere in the city, we had drinks and some lunch in the Plaza Mayor at the Restaurant Pandora, he went off to cool off and I went exploring... I am so glad we stayed there, it was so easy to walk round all the wonderful sites there.

Locatia hotelului care este chiar in inima citadelei.
Nu a mers sistemul pt AC, si din cauza asta a fost un pic mai cald, dar pentru ca am stat doar o noapte , am deschis geamul si a fost ok.
Superb location. Lovely,quiet garden to sit and enjoy your glass of wine as the sun goes down. Sunsets here are glorious. 👌

Within minutes you can walk to the Cathedral,plaza or the castle.
Segovia has endless churches and endless bars,so there's lots to explore. Drinks on the plaza are expensive ,so after sampling..... it's fun to go exploring little alley ways to find local bars with excellent tapas and realistic prices. Eating out isn't for vegetarians. If you like pork,you'll love Segovia. 😉
Hotel has friendly ,helpful staff who speak good English.

Segovia had loads of tour groups, so plan your route down sidestreets to avoid them.

Location. I have stayed here before—several times. It’s far enough from the Plaza to be very quiet at night. The staff are really attentive. The hotel is well-maintained.
The front desk female was most helpful, especially when we needed directions. The hotel was very accommodating when we needed to store our luggage for a few hours. I also liked the back lawn area to sit outdoors to watch the sunset.
WiFi connection was spotty, maybe perhaps we were assigned to room 309. There was no closet in that room and the dormers ceiling made us feel cramped. I had a sense we were assigned to a Booking.com “lesser” room.

El desayuno: atención excelente, y el precio muy bien. En el hotel no pararías de hacer fotos a todos los rincones. Por poner alguna pega es que en nuestra habitación solo teníamos una ventana que daba a un patio interior bastante luminoso. Y el personal super atento. Gracias por todo, volveremos.
