Smelly,dirty,old bed,cheap bedding,noisy road,shower door wouldn’t shut properly.
Very comfortable room, pleasantly decorated, clean and good facilities in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful when we saw them. Nice bathroom.
No breakfast available, we weren't told this until we checked in. Food available at dinner was bland but ok. Although Hubby enjoyed his burger. I think we were the only customers in the hotel. A few regulars popped into the pub in the evening but it was shut by 9:30/10pm even on friday and sat night. Although this wasn't too much of an issue for us it seemed almost abandoned when we did venture downstairs.

Everything closed down at 9pm, window was old & rotting, thin curtains with security light shining through all night, old uncomfortable mattress and pillows, too hot & entrance to car park very narrow.

Lovely building
Owner or whoever we were greeted by was rude and couldn’t be bothered, just as if he didn’t want to be there

Bathroom a little tired and scruffy!
Filthy place. Floor not been vacuumed for some time. Dust mites on bed linen. Paint on curtains. Cracked windows. Springs sticking out of the bed. Misreable landlord only interested in telling you to close the bathroom (hardly a bathroom more an old telephone box) door in case the fire alarm is activated - no formal hello greeting - just get given a key and told about the alarm. For the area this place is horrendous.
