The hotel exterior and entrance is looking very tired. The awful fragrance being used makes it smell like a care home!
The rooms though are fabulous inside with the only issue was having very little hot water for our showers.
Do try the Spa it is absolutely beautiful and a bargain at 25 euros each. You must pre book though.
It’s a perfect location for exploring Alicante
We have stayed here before and will stay again just don’t let the exterior put you off.
Lovely location, very comfortable spacious suite
Excellent oceanfront room.
Externally the building is a little dated, but it's lovely inside and in a great position to walk into the old town, marina, shops, Promenade and beach. Definitely would recommend
We loved the hotel and location. Sauna was out of order for couple of days which was a shame and for the last 3 days they didn’t provide us with fresh towels in the afternoon which was a bit disappointing but we enjoyed our stay. Pool area isn’t big enough for the hotel so summer time probably will be a problem to get a place as it does get busy. We thought it’s was adults only hotel but it’s not the case. Pool isn’t not big enough for children to have fun. Also pool is not heated and most of people didn’t bother some days water felt like it was topped up with ice but it’s march. Gym is really small as well but as I said we enjoyed it anyway.
Was disappointed that the heating in our room didn’t work and after complaining it took over 1 hour 30 mins to get it partially resolved then after 2 hours fully resolved but only stayed one so most of the afternoon in the room wasted . Breakfast not up to the usual standard also
2nd stay here, although the exterior of the building looks dated and shabby, the rooms are excellent, breakfast is lovely, private pool for suites is great.
Pool temperature is cold could do with turning on the heat. Staff are very helpful.
Plenty of good transport.
Taxi to and from the airport is 25 euros each way so don’t get a private transfer. Ryanair wanted 117 euros!!
Will return again next year.
Wonderful staff and the views were amazing. I’m just sorry we stood only 1 night.
Good hotel, Ana at reception was amazingly helpfully
Great location
Stunning bedroom suite
Fabulous views
The room was excellent, as was the cleanliness, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. 5 stars
Fantastic location, great hotel, fabulous rooms, staff were great but there were just such a lack of them! Very hard to get a drink at pool, reception was always too busy, the Spa wasn’t manned fully. This has amazing potential!
Another lovely stay in one of our favourite Alicante hotels. The only disappointment was our rooms were on the side overlooking the marina (as we had requested) but away from the sun.
Our stay was amazing ,we were able to check in early and were upgraded to a suite
Beautiful breakfast and staff were so very friendly and helpful
Will definitely visit again
Great place, great location. Shame about the current trend of putting Nespresso machines in rooms and even a milk frother but no way to make tea and no milk!?!
All restaurants closed which wasn’t advised prior to arrival. There are lots of options close by, but after a long drive we just wanted something easy in the hotel which was a shame. Lunch menu on 1st floor was poor and the only option if you didn’t want to leave your sun bed. Other than that, hotel is lovely - rooms amazing, bath with a view! Pool deck lovely. Really enjoyed other than strange food decision - other hotels have restaurants open so not sure why this one doesn’t.
The hotel is good, renovated. The bed is comfortable. The main negative points are:
Very very slow check-in.
Incorrect information on the phone
Cannot turn off the nightlight in the toilet (very inconvenient if you like to sleep in the dark)
Everything apart from the relatively unpleasant/rude staff in the breakfast area was fine. Also, if you choose the see view, you may end up with a pool view as well which, when people are sunbathing there, takes away from the see view a lot..especially if your room is at level 2. But all in all, great hotel (rooms and the roof terrace) but some improvement could be made on staff quality.
A lovely place to stay overall. Great views all over the property, good food, nice staff. Everything is very COVID-safe. Only downside is that there aren't enough sunbeds and umbrellas in the 1st floor pool area, which is a bummer because we had to go to a beach club (and pay extra for it) to be able to comfortably sunbathe.
Beautiful hotel, family gatherings for birthday. The masks were a nuisance, but that’s not their fault.
