Great stay in this traditional hotel located a stones throw from the town centre on the edge of the town walls with subsidised, €13 per day, car parking opposite. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean with a great bathroom. We booked a room with a balcony, well worth a few more euros, spacious and a great view whilst sipping a G&T.
Breakfast was in an enormous restaurant area, once a bank, friendly service and an extensive selection of cold meats and cheeses, pastries, cakes and so on, including bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs, very much worth including in booking your room.
Overall, a really super stay in a traditional kind of hotel, but with the usual modernised conveniences, kettle and a great range of teas, WiFi etc..
Extremely friendly and helpful staff as well, easy check in, check out, recommendations for restaurants and directions.

location was a grand old hotel.
Probably did not see the area at its best as it was raining and on a Sunday it was quite difficult to get something to eat. The hotel was very clean. Pillows not too great. Breakfast was ok, continental so standard in Spain. Staff at the desk and at breakfast were very helpful and friendly. Good location.

Excellent in all areas
Hotel was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Staff was very friendly, and the hotel was conveniently located, within walking distance, of all the sites I wanted to visit. I would stay here again, without question.
Bien situado
This is a really nice hotel and I had a lovely big room. The bathroom has both a bath and shower. Soaps are in dispensers so there are few toiletries for a standard room. There’s a mini bar in the bedroom, a desk and chair as well as an armchair. There is no restaurant but there is an open plan breakfast room through the reception. The lady on reception helped me find somewhere to eat and see and was very friendly. The only downside was the slight smell of cigarettes in the room despite the notice in the room forbidding it. The lovely cleaner said they would have happily changed my room had I mentioned it. I enjoyed the city and Plaza Mayor.
