Good location but the hotel needs a good clean top to bottom.
Pros:

How close to Wookeyhole attraction it was and surrounding area.

Cons:

The first room wasn’t up to standard with a fan full of dust blowing everywhere when I tried using it. The rooms both were full of old cobwebs but my biggest concern was the pink a bacterium called Serratia marcescens present in the bathroom. Which when I asked reception they did get house keeping to clean.

This is a concern especially the back end of HIPEC Surgery for Peritoneal Cancer with a lower immune system.

Overall the properties need a good clean from top to bottom. As I was staying 1 night I ignored as much as I could of.

Schöne Lage, tolle Pancakes

Cons:

Recht muffiges Zimmer mit Blick auf eine Böschung. Die Dusch-Temperatur war kaum zu regeln, bei der dritten Person kam kein warmes Wasser mehr.

Satisfied, would probably stay there again
Pros:

Breakfast was very good
Room comfortable but not soundproof
Kettle dirty but good supply of tea, coffee etc.

Cons:

Lack of disabled parking, needs more spaces particularly would benefit from spaces near the ramp at the entrance of the building.

Pros:

Nice room, friendly staff.

Cons:

The room hadn't been cleaned. Bathroom was quite dirty with excrement on the toilet. Also had not been vacuumed, there was a fake fingernail on the carpet and the higher shelves were covered in very thick dust. Rooms were exceptionally hot.

Pros:

Proximity to the Cave..

Cons:

Staff, bar a couple, seemed uninterested. I served myself for drinks whilst in the restaurant after fhe first round. The pizza was not good, full of tomatobase paste and the cheesewas so thick. Nothing else was worth eating. Why no steak?. The breakfasts were not good and when items ran low, to the point of being empty and nothing left, the staffed weren't on it to fill it... the coffee machine needs to be banned... its appalling.Seriously how hard is a percolator to opsrate? The pancake machine... really?
I had no breakfast, my wife left half and my son only ate the sausages.
This location is prime to the historical cave attraction and it is letting the whole experience down. Its lazy from the own and management. Do better.

Most staff were friendly and helpful. Close to attractions. Room was a good size with helpful clean up on day 2. Games room and field to run around.

Cons:

Needed more attention to detail. There was a crack in the side of the bath tub and numerous hairs around. Deeper clean needed. Our first night servers could have been more attentive.

Lovely hotel in a peaceful location.
Pros:

Nice quiet location and only a short drive to the City of Wells. Good size room, comfy beds.

Pros:

Just came back from a two night stay. Which we had through a buy a gift. The hotel was comfortable, but we had room 2 , which was on the ground floor. Outside the bedroom window we had two air conditioning units. On the first night it was ok ,but the second night it kept us awake. The kitchen door was also by the window so I had to keep the curtains closed. The bathroom was a wet room so the smell was not good. The sink was too small . The food was ok . The staff very friendly. Would I stay again yes but in a different room .

Buffet breakfast was good and the kids.loves the pancake machine. Plenty of parking, rooms were clean.
