San Giorgio Palace Hotel

Super clean, excellent staff and location -we enjoyed our stay, having a great experience.

Excellent location right in the old town, with easy access and everything close by. Parking was convenient on the side street just below the entrance. The room had a beautiful mountain view, and the courtyard filled with lemon trees was a lovely touch. The elevator connecting directly to the upper part of the old town was especially convenient.

Skip this hotel. Rooms are small and the lobby is just four walls and door to street. Steep climb to enter hotel from street area.

We visited Sicily for 10 days beginning New Year’s Eve. We stayed two nights in Ragusa Ibla at the San Giorgio Palace Hotel. It is in a great location with elevators (which is important as the hotel is built on the side of a mountain. The room was clean and modern. We got a room with a view which was a nice size and on the 6th floor. The 5th floor has a door to the old town. You will still need to walk up stairs to get to the main avenue, so be prepared (it’s worth it!) Breakfast was nice and the attendants worked to keep the tables bussed and food area neat and replenished. Parking is below the hotel and a little walk up a ramp. The hotel sent me a video that showed exactly where to park and the walk to the hotel elevator. The hotel and employees were very helpful and easy to reach by email and WhatsApp. We took a day trip to Noto which was a nice drive and beautiful town, too. If you visit in January, be prepared for most shops and restaurants to be closed. We found places for dinner both nights, but on the second night we went to 3 closed restaurants before finding one that was open. (It was delicious!)

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Everything - room, check-in, breakfast, service, easy parking, great location with easy access to main attractions. Definitely will stay again and will recommend to F&F.

Great place to stay! The location was pretty quiet but a short easy walk to the main areas. There is free parking at the street level which was super easy. Good breakfast with a nice outdoor terrace area. Room was simple but clean and the bed was the most comfortable one we had on our Sicily trip. My only real complaint was that the bathroom didn't seem bright enough. Overall felt like a great value and we very much enjoyed our stay.

The staff was incredibly helpful in figuring out what to see in town and how to get to places without a lot of uphill climbs. The room was very comfortable with a wonderful view overlooking the valley. And it was super close to the old city. You could walk anywhere in the old city quite easily. We had a car and the staff was also extremely helpful in describing where to park. Finally the breakfast was also fantastic— especially the bacon!

The staff were excellent and the breakfast pretty good. Easy free parking on the street below, easy access too and a helpful porter for our luggage.
The beds were comfortable and the room was fine but a little cold and we couldn’t adjust the AC. Parts of the bathroom looked a little tired and the shower floor was very slippery so we used a hand towel as a shower mat to prevent any accidents. We would definitely return, as Ragusa is quiet and beautiful, with some good restaurants.

Excellent price, location, staff, view and breakfast. Our room was small but very clean. Breakfast is served in a beautiful terrace and offered many options.

An amazing hotel built into the rocks of Ragusa. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and offered variety. The hotel is a short walk from the central square. Ragusa is a beautiful place to visit

Although it wasn't the easiest finding this hotel outside of the limited zone area, otherwise, the stay was perfection. The room was lovely and the staff was friendly and professional. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious and you couldn't beat the view from the terrace. Breathtaking! Would stay here again....without a doubt.

Location of this property was perfect. We stayed here for 2 nights because we did day trips to Siracusa/Ortgia, Noto, Modica, Marzamemi.
The area of Ragusa Ibla is an authentic Italian village with the beautiful piazzas many choices for dinner and gelato. Just walking in and out of the narrow streets felt like a dream. We enjoyed our evenings in Ragusa Ibla and look forward to returning.

Easy parking, convenient to access city, great shower, great bed, great gardens, great breakfast. Very eco conscious, so when you leave the room, everything powers off but air conditioning comes on strong upon start up. May wish to ask for spare key to charge your stuff when you leave but not a big deal. Super place to stay. Ragusa is also really interesting spot.

We were in this Hotel last weekend, it was excellent the rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast is perfect, location was in a quite part of Ragusa, and most of all the friendly and dedicated staff. Thanks for your dedication to your clients.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Stayed in Garden room which was excellent. Staff were excellent and location first class. Only error we made was startling for only one night.

They are top notch. I would consider it a totally 5-star hotel. Breakfast crew are so lovely, the front desk are spectacular , and the cleaning lady is a total hero. It’s spotless clean and meticulously decorated.
