Not the relaxed stay we hoped for because of the awful noise
Pros:

It’s central location

Cons:

I didn’t like the fact that we had disturbed sleep every night with the awful noise from the building we were in constant banging of doors , and thudding footsteps

Not as good quality as the double tree hilton I stay at in Bath.
Pros:

I wish there was a machine to get hot water so I could have a hot cup of tea instead of hot water from a jug.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little bit shabby, the soap dispenser was empty, there was no lock on the bathroom door and there as a hole in the door filled with toilet roll.

not a good nights sleep, room was not value for money.

Hotel and staff were great, but eat somewhere else for the evening meal.
Pros:

The rooms and hotel was very clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The restaurant menu, for a Hilton Hotel, was extremely poor. We could get the same sort of menu at a cafe or burger bar. The food produced, however, was of good quality.

The bed was too hard, there was no plug for the bath to use and there wasn’t a plug socket near the large mirror to do my hair

Very pleasant short break in a lovely hotel
Pros:

The proximity to York centre, bedroom was lovely, good size the bathroom had a walk in shower. The room was nice and light having 2 large windows. Staff were very professional, helpful and friendly

There was a big beam in the first room we were given that caused problems but the staff were very accommodating and moved rooms for us

Staff friendly and the reception area very inviting

Cons:

Outdated room, some lights not in light fittings. Shower head the pole was hanging off the wall. Bedside drawer wouldn't close. Near one side of the bed there was a floorboard dropped. The breakfast was greasy.
