Fabulous setting and views to die for from our balcony

The location is excellent in the centre of the village. Sadly the hotel is past its sell by date, very basic, dark and in desperate need of a refurb. I found the staff a bit miserable, breakfast very basic. Only stayed 2 nights and had no hot water. I would not return.

Great location and fantastic balcony view. Probably best location in Dalyan. But no information in rooms. Good breakfast. No WiFi for four days which was reported and staff seemed indifferent. Very frustrating.

Stayed at the tezcan hotel for 14 days at the end of August. Can't recommend the place enough. Although the rooms were pretty basic, everything else more than made up for it. The room had everything you would need. The pool was a good size with plenty of recliners for guests. Really good breakfast with plenty of choice. Bed sheets and towels changed every day. Room cleaned every day. The real gem of the hotel is the staff. They could not do enough for you. So warm and welcoming. The 2 cleaning ladies were always smiling and really nice. The boys Cano and Mitchel were really helpful and friendly often checking in. The reception staff and the man they called uncle were also really lovely. I would 100% stay here again. Thank you guys for making our holiday so special ❤️

Stayed here for 10 nights. Was supposed to be 6 but we ended up extending our stay. The hotel does need updated but the view from our river room was exceptional so made up for that. I have zero complaints re this hotel! The rooms were cleaned every day if you wanted and the cleaning ladies were fab! The bar staff especially Mucahit and Caner were very attentive and good craic! Had drink and food round the pool & it was always lovely! I cannot fault any of the staff from reception to pool and bar staff. The hotel was very quiet but Turkey is like this at the moment as it’s gotten quite expensive and people are not coming as much I’ve since learned. We had problems with our sliding door which was fixed immediately and the hairdryer which was replaced with a brand new one also. This hotel was clean, had friendly staff, amazing views of the river and tombs and is close to shops, lovely restaurants and the boats to take you wherever you want also! The pool was always well maintained our whole stay. I would 100% come back and stay here again just because the staff were so brilliant! We also had a late flight and the owner herself let us keep the room for free until we left that evening. Exceptional hotel and staff! We even got a send off from staff and friends we’ve made along the way. Thank you all so much for an amazing stay! Kirk and Marianne :)

Booked a last minute break for 3 nights so i could complete some work in the sun. Had no idea what to expect but this hotel is in a stunning location. Its not a 5 star bling hotel but it is more than adequate and the location is stunning, Lovely lovely local people and the markets and shops are brilliant. The rooms are clean. The beds are big. maybe a tad dated, but who cares ! What's also amazing is that this isn't like other areas such as Marmaris which can get a bit annoying with the pushy sales on every corner, Its calm, wonderful exposure to traditional turkey and stunning views. I honestly didnt expect this for what i paid and i am already considering booking for my whole family. Just having breakfast outside is so revitalising its unbelievable There is a local mosque a stones throw away and its surreal to hear the call to prayer. Don't hesitate - get it booked! You wont regret it !

Best location. It’s centrally located, walking distance to everything; restaurants, bars, shops and water taxis.

Excellent family hotel, very central overlooking the river, brilliant for children with small main pool and baby pool. Poolside drinks and snacks. Rooms air-conditioned and clean. Buffet breakfast freshly prepared. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful location - we had a room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the river and rock tombs. We stayed for a week in June at the Tezcan Hotel. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The breakfast was buffet style with cold meats, cheeses, salad, with hot choices as well varying each day. Omlettes were cooked fresh with cheese on request. Fresh orange juice wasn't available every day, but was lovely when it was for a small charge. You could eat breakfast outside in the shade where there were some very friendly cats to entertain you.
Our room as with most hotels in Turkey was basic, bed was comfortable, bathroom was a good size. Air con was provided at no extra cost.

Just back from two weeks in this hotel. Having stayed last year we kind of knew what to expect, a bit basic but clean and tidy However it could definitely do with some money being spent on it It's all become 'bit tatty' and worn. The family who own the hotel seem to have no interest in refurbishment. Everything is beige The bar staff were very good and always had a smile They have stopped evening meals (which they had last year ) so the bar wasn't available at night Don't think the owners wanted you there at night This hotel has THE best location and could be made fabulous but you would have to spend money on it. Which the owners are not keen to do Would I go back again ? NO !!!! Don't know where the shop comes from in the hotel description There is certainly no shop in the hotel.

Dalyan's number 1 hotel location w )ithout a doubt. A view to die for ( if you book a balcny and river view. Close to the cenre yet very quiet, only the put-put of river boats during the day.

The best bits : Location, location, location. Very clean serviced rooms. Young staff are very friendly and helpful. Access from three entrances to local amenities.

The not so good bits: No lift, Basic breakfast, although the freshly cooked omlettes are superb. You pay extra for fresh orange juice. No secure facility to put luggage between check out and pick-up. Fridge in room but vatious say no food or drink to be brought into hotel ! TV in room, but all Turkish channels.

8 of us all family have just returned from the best week at this amazing hotel!!
From start to finish it was just perfect.
On arrival We we’re met by friendly faces all running to help us with our suitcases.
The rooms are a good size, nice firm mattress, extra pillows and blankets and good air conditioning and WiFi.
The hotel is clean, the view is just beautiful, you never get bored of looking at it!! We were on the 2nd floor standard rooms and we loved sitting on the balcony looking over the pool and stunning scenery.
The pool is clean and a perfect temperature to cool off in.
We ate lunch everyday here as it was so hot and my father finds it difficult to walk far.
Onur the chef is always smiling ( and dancing) his food is very good and he is passionate about his job as is his lovely side kick Muhammed.
The staff went above and beyond running to get anything we wanted, pomegranate juice, fresh sea-bass (which Onur cooked to perfection) and Even cigarettes.
Now young Mucahit- what can we say about this wonderful 22 year old?! This guy worked so hard every day, every hour, and did not stop smiling, he is an asset to any work place and could not do enough for us all.we
And then we have the main man Cafer- this guy has a good heart, my father fell twice ( not because of anything at the hotel but because he is elderly and sick and Cafer was amazing to help us. He is a good manager and has a good connection with the other boys.
It was 43 degrees on our stay and this team never sleep!! They work so hard and for anyone to say they are not happy or creating an atmosphere in the previous review is just crazy. Maybe if you are miserable as a guest it will reflect on their mood, they are not there to be your entertainment team!!
Saying that they laughed with us all day, they talked to us about their lives and families and they danced with us and for this reason we will 100 percent return as they made our vacation ( maybe the last one altogether) perfect and memorable!!

There are only two things I would change

1- darker curtains in rooms

2-an extra banister on other side of stairs for the corners to hold onto for disabled as stairs narrow on banister side.

Everything was perfect and we will return next year for sure!!

We stayed here for 5 nights. Location is excellent. Hotel is very clean but I have to say there is zero atmosphere in this hotel. The staff are very solem and look like that just don’t want to be there. Sadly we got a room without the view and no balcony. Beds not very comfy pillows even worse . This hotel is great if you are just looking for a base but certainly not if you want to use facilities eg pool. Such a shame as location is perfect

The situation of this hotel
is fabulous. From our balcony we can see the beautiful river and the rock tombs. The breakfast is excellent, with fresh cheese, meat, bread, fruit and salad. The star of the show is the egg station, with fresh omelettes and fried or scrambled eggs available daily. We found all the staff friendly and obliging. It is not ‘fancy’ or expensive looking inside but the room is clean and spacious and the shower is excellent. You are very close to the centre of Dalyan yet on the river. This was a huge advantage in our view. It was quiet when we got back from an evening out but everything is pretty much within a five minute walk. If you have not been to Dalyan before we can thoroughly recommend it. People are very friendly, it is packed with nice places to eat and the river, beaches and surrounding countryside are beautiful.

Loved it, ideal for us. The room, (balcony overlooking the river) was basic, but had what we needed. One odd thing, there is a fridge in the room, but notices everywhere not to bring food and drinks in?? Beds are comfortable, enough storage for us for a week away. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Yes not perfect English, but I don't speak Turkish so not something to complain about. If you want something, or need something, just ask they will try to help.
The hotel is central to everything, if you are thinking of going, stop thinking and book it.

Turkish breakfast was our favourite part about this hotel. The room is standard with a fridge, NO kettle for coffee or tea. The floor was really sticky when we arrived. Keep your shoes on!! An extra 450 lira a day if you want a river view even no the place was empty.

Stayed her for 2 weeks in September We had a great holiday. I suppose it was a little basic but it was clean and tidy. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and comfy beds, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas The staff were very good and always helpful Great location we had a riverside view. Hopefully we will return next year
