Netter Gasthof, nettes Pub!
Pros:

Das sehr schottisch- charmante Zimmer im Globe Inn hat uns gut gefallen. Die Zimmer haben alle einen Clan-Namen, das fanden wir nett. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Darunter ist ein sehr netter Pub und die Lage ist auch recht zentral.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, einiges sollte erneuert werden.
In der Straße kann man nur 2 Stunden parken (nur per App und relativ teuer) und es war mühsam, ein geeignetes Parkhaus für einige Stumden zu finden.

Good choice for central Aberdeen.
Pros:

Great location. Family run, not a big corporate hotel

Cons:

Small room and badly positioned toilet roll holder which made using the already small space very difficult. Window was dirty, albeit because access is difficult, but still needs to get cleaned

Heerlijk verblijf bij fijne pub
Pros:

De kamer wat netjes en schoon, het bed was heerlijk breed en sliep zeer goed. De pub was erg gezellig en je had totaal geen geluidsoverlast. Het hotel ligt centraal en is makkelijk te bereiken.

The staff was so nice and helpful, nice food. The interior was so cozy and cool!

Cons:

It's the warmest room I've been in so far on my trip. Even with the window open at night, was it really warm to sleep. I haven't had that so far for the places I've visited before, with the same kind of temperature as well. So didn't sleep that well unfortunately. But that's just how it is. Didn't ruin my stay.

Just a little thing: Maybe a small bin in the bathroom would have been great. As a lady it would have been nice was a closed bin, to use with pads/tampons, etc. So you wouldn't have to use the open bin in the bedroom. I wasn't on my period, but it just made me wonder how it would have made me a little uncomfortable to use the open bin in the bathroom and even more if I had been on a trip with another person and they would have to be forced to be in the same room as my used pads/tampons in a very warm room 😅

Globe Inn is the place with good vibes!
Pros:

We spent our first two nights in Scotland in Globe Inn and we were so impressed how friendly and helpful the staff was. The atmosphere in the pub was overall cozy and comfort. The breakfast was very nice, too and the hotelroom was clean, nice and peaceful. The bathroom was spacious. Thank you very much!

Sehr lebendiger Pub in der Innenstadt von Aberdeen. Dadurch natürlich auch sehr laut. Ausgesprochen freundliche, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter!
