Pros:

great price, location, staff awesomly friendly, easy, parking, great pub, room was large, good bed and facilities

Good location, friendly staff.

Cons:

No food available on our first night, on the second we were able to eat but were disappointed with the fayre. We reported problems with our shower and toilet but these were not attended to.

Ok apart from the issues in the morning of departure.
Pros:

Location ok but bedroom next to main road which was a bit noisy at times.

Cons:

The hotel website advertise a breakfast menu and there was also a breakfast menu posted in the bar. Went down at 8am and the restaurant was locked with no one in sight. Didn’t even know what to do with the room key.

Lovely dog friendly old pub
Pros:

Good location in a small village near Oxford and dog friendly. The staff were lovely and the evening meal was really enjoyable.

Cons:

No breakfast until 10.00 am on Saturday morning so we couldn’t have one. It would have been nice to have a cold, continental breakfast option. It is an old building with low beams in our room and despite the warnings I banged my head.

Pros:

The beds very comfortable. The large room looked out onto the main road, but traffic was very light; I think I heard 3 lorries passing. It was not a problem for me; I slept really well. Lots of storage space.

Cons:

You had to pay for your own pint of beer. All else was fine: very quiet in the hotel, lots of parking, lovely beer garden.
