very noisy if given room on front of building
Good value for money
Restaurant was shut
Was told go to pub next-door
That Restaurant was shat as well
Good location, large room with good facilities.
The beds very comfortable. The large room looked out onto the main road, but traffic was very light; I think I heard 3 lorries passing. It was not a problem for me; I slept really well. Lots of storage space.
You had to pay for your own pint of beer. All else was fine: very quiet in the hotel, lots of parking, lovely beer garden.
The staff were helpfull and service with a smile is always good.
The Kitchen wasn't working so we had to travel for dinner.
GM is so great, super friendly and nothing is too mic other staff were super friendly too. The cleaners were so professional and friendly too. I would highly recommend.
They were sadly refitting their kitchen so we didn’t get to try their food, it will be fixed by the 24th.
It was clean spacious and comfortable
Lovely quaint property in a lovely area would definitely stay again
Fantastic local and beautiful countryside pub
Friendly welcome
Big comfy bed
Coffee machine
You can hear room next door.
Fine in the summer but big gap on front door to property.
They did add £40 to my booking price but was removed and their error
It was comfortable and when the hearing was on it was nice and warm as we stayed during a cold spell in spring .
Nothing really
Location
Non availability of food.
The room we were given had a bathroom that stank of stale urine. we questioned this and were given another room. This was better but at the top of some steep stairs. This was awkward for my disabled partner.. We were charged £25 extra for a one night stay because we had a dog with us.
Tried many many times to contact the place by phone and never had the phone answered. While it was an adequate place to stay, it needed some work in places to bring it up to scratch.J
Very cosy place. Staff friendly and helpful.
Rooms were comfortable with good facilities. No air con but a large fan helped
No breakfast option on site except on weekends from 10 am. although the website says there is breakfast. Once you booked in the only way to speak to staff was to wait until the pub was open, the phone went to voicemail
