If I could I would have moved on.
Pros:

Staff good. Not happy to be put in an outside mobile like structure because of the dog. Wasn't happy with dinner they did take my meal off the bill. Over cooked. I was most unhappy with a member of staff ironing in the dining room. Was told short staffed and they needed to do it there to watch clients.. Very unprofessional.

Cons:

Staff Ironing linen in the dining room in front of guests. The quality of my meal was terrible inedible ,couldn't eat it. Toilet seat broken, bedside light broken and wobbly Laminate floor lifting in places and entrance mat slippery.
When I informed the member of staff of my concerns there was no manager or senior person available till the morning.. Next day on leaving the person on reception was defensive and said no one else comp!ained. I have been in business for over 40 years and was always told the client was always right.
A very disappointing stay and would not stay there again

Very basic and overpriced for what you get. Tiny bathroom. Towels were stained. Mattress uncomfortable. Outdated and in need of a make over.

We enjoyed our stay overall.
Pros:

Choice. Of meals very good.Breakfast very good and good service,
Evening meals very good selection and good service.Tv and storage area in bedroom area was good.

Cons:

The room in the annex was ok but the bathroom was very cramped.There was no wi fi access in the room.

Pros:

The room was very poor for the price! I work all over the uk, this room else where would cost no more than £69 to £70 a night. The beds was so uncomfortable and the pillows was like sleeping on bricks. To get hot water in the shower we had to ask the staff, she said there is a Knack to it. I thought this day and age we should just turn the taps on! Sorry this place wasn't for us! And we wouldn't recommend it.

Bonus point for having a banana split on the menu

Cons:

Sadly room was slightly on the small side,right next to the door coming up first floor so quite abit of foot traffic
Window sill and around frame could use some attention
Alot of flaky paint and unsightly black marks
Wifi did not work on 2 devices

Pros:

The room was clean, spacious, on the ground floor and away from the hotel public area so not affected by noise from the wedding reception there on the night we stayed.

Cons:

No WiFi accessible in our room.

Amazing frontline staff poor facilities
Pros:

Location and amazing front line service folks and the amazing breakfast!

Cons:

No WIFI in room 5 in the annex which is a more expensive room. I was told I could go to the bar to use wifi. The mattress was worse than the ones we gave prisoners in our police lock up and the pillows were super thin. We have stayed here many times since 2015 and this time was the last time. I cancelled our upcoming reservation for next week.

A little over priced for our room
Pros:

The Location was good it was within ½ a mile of local facilities. The food we had was in the restraunt was nice.

Cons:

For the price, I think the room we had was a little overpriced, but it's the area you're paying for.
There was no room thermostat and the heated towel rail we couldn't find the switch to put it on, but we was only in the room for a few hours [excluding sleep] so it wasn't a big issue, it was just chilly getting out of the shower.

Good value hotel in a great location with friendly staff.
Pros:

Annexe room was adequate for our one-night stay, clean and comfortable. No view though.

Great evening meal despite lots of kids running around (suggest eating later to avoid).

Breakfast was fantastic with great choices and served to table rather than buffet style.

Cons:

Shortage of staff meant long waits at the bar to get a drink especially with bar staff also acting as Hotel Reception and dealing with customer queries.

Needed at least two more for the number of people in the busy wedding function room and dining/lounge areas.
