A warm welcome and a comfortable stay.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at Solway Lodge. The room was simple but clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Dinner was very good, as was breakfast, and the staff were all lovely. We really liked it and would happily return.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Excellent place to stay
Pros:

Solway Lodge is an excellent hotel. It is very clean, the staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a nice time there. The food is excellent we had dinner and breakfast and both meals were excellent and the staff serving them were friendly and polite.

Good location
Pros:

Good location, food available at a good price and lovely staff

Cons:

Expensive for a dog stay for the size of the room, then you have to pay an extra £10 for the dog.
Room off to the side of the hotel, adequate for a couple, but because we have a large dog and because of the heat there wasn’t really anywhere he could lie and he was getting quite stressed.
We literally put our bags in the room, went into the hotel for food, then repacked the car and left.
We did ask for a fan because the room was like an oven but told they wasn’t insured for fans.

Excellent hotel
Pros:

The location of the hotel was excellent near to local amenities. Hotel is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and are happy to cater for everyone.
Food is excellent good choice and are happy to let you order just what you like

Nice overnight stay
