Location was great. Food was superb as were the staff.
Basic rooms which need modernising and redecorating.
Awesome food menu
Location was good
Breakfast was ok but not great had to keep asking for things
Really lovely little B&B and pub.
Nice room, with kettle etc for a cuppa ....Nescafe coffee tho (yuk)
Pub was great, had a lovely evening meal.
Staff/ service was excellent
Nescafe coffee sachets in room - horrible
Hair dryer went bang, but replacement was guven asap
Very friendly and made us very welcome. And lovely with the dogs .
Lovely quaint old pub
Rooms located to the rear
Nicely presented!
Staff food pub area
I had to clean the bathroom toilet was disgusting
Location was good with a great breakfast
The food prices were a little on the expensive side especially the gammon steak @ £16:95 which by the way the egg was the same size as the gammon 👎
Location great. Good breakfast.
Really good staff
The pub was beautiful! Super cosy and just a great place to relax. The food was excellent. Loved my dinner and breakfast. The staff - great 🙌 Everyone was warm, welcoming and accommodating. Very knowledgeable and understanding when asked about vegan options. Great value for money.
The room - lovely size, super cozy. Great location. Everything you need is there 🙂
The bed had a spring mattress. It Seemed Ok at the start, but I woke up feeling achy all over because of it.
The floor needs a proper wash. I did not take any 'house shoes' with me, and it was too dirty to walk on it with only your socks on. We ended up just walking around in our normal shoes all the time, bringing even more dirt in as it was raining.
The toilet needs a good clean too. The toilet seat and the shower floor were dirty.
We had a dog and the courtyard was enclosed we knew he couldn’t escape .Also a special mention to Phil the owner he set up the TV so I could watch Leeds United beat Burnley .The staff were very friendly and helpful nothing to much trouble. Great food really good value for money.
Anyone who has walking difficulties would not find it easy to use the toilet facilities.; also walking on the gravel car park
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast was very good
The accommodation could do with a little TLC though in the current financial climate I imagine that’s tricky
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in a unique setting like The Farmers Boy Inn. Easy parking, good food and great atmosphere.
Nothing
Friendly staff, good food. Accomodation basic but sufficient
Basic accomodation, motel style, ok for price paid
Staff are excellent and very helpful food is good and overall a great little place to stay for the night
many thanks
Price features inside the 17th century parts of the pub. Staff friendly & welcoming.
The pub is advertised as famous for pies & website implies great food (which it must have been in the past) but dinner was average at best (soggy pastry, overcooked tiny portion of peas served at fresh vegetables) & breakfast was disappointing & very poor quality more akin to a cafe (thin sliced white bread, instant coffee, wet scrambled eggs).
The rooms were a good size, but decor tired looking with shower tray chipped, door didn't close properly unless slammed, and cleanliness not great (mould on windows, dirty around floor & skirting, dust/dirt on pillow case). It was fine gor one night as a base but wouldn't recommend or return.
Very friendly staff, food was very good, rooms are outside next to the pub nice, quiet and big.
Beds weren’t overly comfy could feel the springs in them. Not a fan of electric showers either.
