Everything!
Nothing.
Location and breakfast ok and good evening meal.
Bed comfortable with spotless bed linen.
Room and floor was dusty through out and would benefit from a deep clean.
Only 2 hangers in wardrobe, also dusty.
Hospitality tray would benefit by including a selection of herbal teas.
Lovely pub. Nice food and drinks. Room was okay - a little smaller than expected but it was clean and fine for our stay (one night).
Had a large car park but came on 🏍 the staff were super nice and friendly a credit to the place. The place had just been taken over 3 weeks previously by a new management who was also great.
The food was nice and discounted if you aee staying over night 20% we were hungrey as riding all day. So had three courses each dont usely each the much. The staff were very kind and chatty and helpful that is the thing that stood out for us.
The names of the rooms were amusing.
My friend said that the beds mattress was uncomfortable for him in our twin room single beds. I personal didnt find that myself.
Fantastic team at The Farmer's Boy. Kate, Sophie, Martin. Belle and Jackie . A pleasure to meet you all
Slightly higher Ceiling in the bar!
We had excellent service at the Farmers Boy Inn. the evening meals and breakfasts were very good the atmosphere in the pub was friendly and accommodating. The only rooms left were twins but they moved the beds to make a very nice double room for us.
the rooms were quiet being in a small courtyard and very clean. for what we got the value was good too.
Thoroughly recommended. We arrived by motorcycle but they must accommodate dogs also.
For a Motorbike, sometimes a place to hide it is useful. but we had places to secure it to. otherwise the car park is good.
Manager was amazing, so friendly & helpful!
Quiet, clean ,friendly staff,good food
Nothing
Location was ideal for our needs being between Gloucester and Ross on wye. Good selection of evening meals and the pies did not disappoint living up to their expectations. Rooms are set back from the main pub which is good. To start the day enjoyed a good breakfast although let down by no gluten free bread on our last two mornings.
Rooms were tidy but a good dusting would not go amiss other than that they were adequate for our needs.
Location. Close to family.
Very small rooms. Cold. Took a while to get the radiator heating to work. Beds uncomfortable, you could feel the springs. Lunch - asked to preorder-Menu options not communicated - disappointed. As a vegetarian I ended up with Yorkshire pudding I didn't ask for, peas and carrots covered in gravy :) Thanks but not vegetarian. I could have complained but life is too short and I lack the energy.
Its location was a huge plus and found the property itself quaint .
Perhaps the room we had could have been a tad cleaner.
Beautiful place, staff were absolutely lovely and a pleasure to be around, breakfast was beautifully cooked!
The bed was extremely hard, having leg issues it did cause a bit of pain.
Also, not quite the properties fault, but we found 5 spiders in our room, one on the bed as I was trying to sleep, having arachnophobia I was on edge the entire time!
Location was great. Food was superb as were the staff.
Basic rooms which need modernising and redecorating.
