La Prima Fashion Hotel

Just back from stay at la prima fashion hotel Budapest ,hotel was spotless clean but not a 3 star sorry to say , breakfast was ok but not 4 star as they say hot food was cold should be certain temperature which was not and never seen any staff checking hot food ,jam's all .mixed would benefit from individual jam portions lot more hygiene ( cross contamination)etc the chef needs to check on recipe for porridge ( Wednesday morning) scottish person) this was not porridge no cold milk for tea, why was the bananas cut in half?? Again hygiene The fridge for yogurt not cold breakfast can do wit a rethink overhaul (im a food hygienist) .Wednesday morning getting woken up at 7am by drilling as a guest should have been told of renovation this is why I only give three star on other hand staff were fantastic always helpful and obliging💫.and hotel situated at a great central location for all historical,restaurants, shopping and i would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at La Prima Fashion Hotel for 4 nights in late March. The hotel is in an ideal location for tourists. The Danube is about 200 yards away and Vaci Street is 50 yards the other way.
The hotel was clean and tidy and staff very helpful.
There is a breakfast area in the basement floor. The food on offer was varied and of good quality. It was a bit hectic though as it was pretty full and it was a bit of a tight fit.
This is a good hotel to stay in, to visit Budapest which is a lovely city.

To start, this is definitely more of a 3 star hotel. However, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend.
Stayed here for 3 nights in March, we had a deluxe twin room with single bed. Room itself was spacious and clean, with complimentary bottled water and coffee.
Location is perfect, very central. We didn’t actually find it too loud at night.
Breakfast was lovely - everything you would normally expect from a continental although can be quite crowded/little space to manoeuvre.
Decor is very outdated.
Would have been nice to have teabags as well.
One of the lifts was only for staff/seemed like the hotel was under some renovation? But the guest lift took a very long time to come.

Overall, enjoyed our stay and would come again

Stayed 4 nights and the location was very good, near to the shopping area with bars and restaurants. A 7 min walk to the metro, bus and tram stops in all directions.
We stayed in a deluxe double/twin and it suited our needs. The only negative was the bathroom, the shower cubicle was small and doors opened on an angle and with a large step up /down to get in through a tight space, the shower head was pointed at you as you opened the door and it could not be easily moved so you got a shower before you got in the cubicle. The hot water and shower strength was very good.
There are 2 lifts to the floors with one being used by staff only as per the sign on the door however when you called the lift more times than not the staff lift came and the other one didn’t come, it got quite frustrating so we did sneak in the staff lift a couple of times!

Bottle of water waiting for our arrival, good fridge, air con, coffee pod machine, clean cups were all good additions.

Breakfast we felt was a bit of a scrum as the tables are very close together leaving a small corridor for guests to move along the breakfast offerings, the coffee machine wasn’t great so we opted to not bother again after the 1st morning although it was very popular with other guests.

All the staff we came across were very nice.

For the location alone we felt La Prima was good value for the price we paid.

This hotel is in an ideal place to stay when visiting Budapest. Close by it has Metro, bus and tram stops. We stayed for four nights with breakfast included. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, even sparkling wine!
close by there are several good restaurants offering all sorts of cuisine.
We stayed in room 302 and had a view of the River Danube at the end of the street.

I had a very positive experience with the staff of the Fashion City Hotel.

Even though I was not personally staying at the hotel, I contacted the reception to arrange a small surprise for a friend who was a guest there. The team was extremely professional, patient and helpful throughout the entire process.

They carefully explained the hotel policies and still did their best to assist me, handling the situation with great kindness and attention.

A special thank you to the front desk staff, who managed everything with professionalism and courtesy.

It is rare to find such helpful and thoughtful service. I truly appreciate their assistance and would gladly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is excellent, location is excellent, The rooms are excellent, and the staff is very nice, courteous and welcoming.

We stayed in the two floor business suite which gave us loads of space; a sitting room with large tv, bedroom with tv and large bathroom with bath with shower and loo in separate little rooms. Downstairs had a conference table, kitchenette and downstairs loo.
The space was brilliant and it was lots more than we needed. However, I was disappointed the coffee wasn’t replenished each day. We ended up finding a local Lidl to purchase pods for the machine which was in the kitchenette.
I also found the cleanliness of the room a bit lacking; dirty bathtub with lots of hairs left behind by previous guests were a bit off putting.
Breakfast buffet was fine - nothing special - with Prosecco available each day. Although, I took an empty bottle out of the champagne bucket to hopefully highlight to staff that it needed replacing but it was just put back in the bucket! Poor attention to detail.
Having said all this, overall the hotel was fine for what we wanted. Location was good and everywhere was easily accessible.
I saw someone review the hotel saying it’s not a 4* hotel. I agree.

I loved my stay, the room was clean and it has everything you might need. When I needed a kettle they gave it to me directly. The rooms on the streets are a bit noisy but not much.

Great location!! Friendly staff who were very helpful with various requests and nothing was a problem.
Breakfast had a good selection and the staff there were very accommodating

Although it is a vary pleasant hotel with friendly and accommodating staff as well as prima location, it's not a 4* hotel.

Lobby of the hotel is barely can be called a Lobby.

Breakfast Although is nice , can't be considered as a 4*hotel Breakfast.

Walls in the rooms are dirty and in need of paint job.

towels are thin , there are no bath robes nor sleepers, bathroom toiletries are vary limited.

I can go on and name few more errors, but above noted should be enough.

In conclusion, in general hotel is okay considering price and location . However, it should not be considered a 4* .

Perfect location for exploring Budapest, lots of restaurants, shops & bars nearby too. Friendly staff, from the lady on reception who checked us in, to the cleaners & staff at breakfast - they were always warm & friendly. Second time I’ve stayed here & would come back again.

Me and my husband had just recently stayed here on our Budapest holiday November 13-16, 2025

Our room was big, as I initially booked for a family room(2 adults, 1 child) but ended up just me and my husband(my daughter could'nt make it)
Its a spaceous room with big windows. The bed was big double bed, firm but not hard. (I couldn't feel my husband's fidgeting😊) It's really comfy.
The bathroom is a good size. Cleaned properly but on the first 2 nights, but the last night(or day) it was not properly cleaned. The towels had been changed and the bath was cleaned, but the toilet was not brushed, flushed buttons not wiped and the sink not wiped.
The towel rail was not working, I brought it up to the reception and I think they fixed as it was warmed when we came back from walked around.
The staff are friendly.
Despite it being on the main road, we can't hear noises and no noises from other guests.
Breakfast is good, quite few varieties.
The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's in the middle of everything!

Stayed here for 4 nights It's a lovely location for all that Budapest has to offer within walking distance of all the main attractions. The hotel rooms are large but the bathroom and shower are not so big.
The beds were comfy. I would stay here again.
We opted in for breakfast served down in the basement it was always very hot and busy but the food options were varied you would always find something to eat.
Overall this is a well located hotel do try the restaurant attached we got 10% off and the food was really nice.

I stayed at the La Prima Fashion Hotel 2 nights in October 2026. Easy check in and they were able to to accept us earlier in the day than expected. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good with a variety of selection. The hotel is in a very central location to the tourist highlights of the city. The staff were very nice.
