Geweldig verblijf, zeer goede lokatie ten opzichte van centrum, winkels/mall en uitvalswegen. Aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Erna, de bar manager is zeer onderhoudend!

overall is good for this hotel.i think grand arkenzo is old hotel in semarang.The facilities are complete, starting from a swimming pool, gym and access to the mall.the room is clean but the room carpet looks old and needs to be updated.I hope I can visit again.

Well … The Receptionist is Horrible, never greet us since check in until check out. Not even when they see us going in or out from the hotel. Other staff is pleasant to deal with.

Breakfast is Very good with lots of variety especially if they have big group staying there, they will add more variety.
Location is the major wow factor for this hotel as it's right at Simpang lima, and across the road from ciputra mall Semarang, easy to find foods all around the hotel.

The whole floor we stay at level 10, look very outdated with old and ripped carpet on the hallway. The room they assigned us also not much different, look very old and outdated, the carpet is ripped at few location. even one of the chair has damaged cushion (so you sit straight at the base of the chair).
the bathroom door is full with water stain, holes, damaged all over. the bathroom floor area is very slippery too.

overall if the budget and location is your main concern, than can give this hotel a try, but if you want more pleasant stay, maybe look at other hotel nearby .

Stayed here just to sleep overnight from Kudus to Jakarta. The hotel is old. The carpet in the hallway is dirty and old. The room is clean with comfy beds, but there are rust and dirts on the bathroom and bathtub. The amenities provided are okay and standard for 3 or 4 star hotels. Hairdryer, complimentary bottled water, tea etc are provided. The location is superb as it is walking distance to Simpang Lima where food is abundant at night. If a night stay you are looking for, and budget is a concern, then this is the place to stay. But parking is a challenge as there is not much parking space. If you bring a car, please make sure this hotel has enough parking space.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel and that was nice. It's located right at simpang lima Semarang, so this hotel is so close to tourist destinations in Semarang. Unfortunately it was raining and I couldn't enjoy the Simpang lima vibes and just ordered food on Grab or Gojek apps.

Secara umum semua cukup baik dan bersih, hanya masalah parkir saja yang kurang nyaman karena harus naik turun gedung parkir yang cukup curam

Positive points:
Awesome breakfast
Great service and friendly staff
The best breakfast with many yummy options
Great gym for beginners or heavy lifters (it's got everything you need)
Location is great and close to everything

Negative points:
The first room was hot during the day even with the air conditioning at full blast. We asked for another room with better air conditioning and they happily obliged. This new room's air-conditioning was only marginally better.
Some floors/rooms are smoking rooms (not ideal for a 6 month old baby as many times you can smell the 2nd hand smoke)
Restaurant area had a smokers area next to the non-smoking area (you still smell cigarette odor on your clothes after eating there)
The rooms are decent but the hotel is aged now and needs renovation in some areas

I was staying for family vacation, the greatest thing is location, and as old hotel it has great space in the room. But yes as old hotel the facilities also been old, pool is small, and the toddler pool is not kind of clean, and for the area with carpet will smell like moldy anywhere. Anyway all the staff was giving very good service and quick action on our need.

The elevator went on slack. Manager said it was due to main power glitch. Biggest problem was, the lift emergency button was not really working, and when the hotel team mentioned that it was working and the operator was answering, the sound from the speaker was virtually non existent. HUGE SAFETY ISSUE!

First visit at this hotel. We booked 5 rooms. Very surprised to know our room was upgraded and without additional costs. Thank a lot !! 1 room turned out to be an exclusive room, with a living room and kitchen, so we could celebrate our father's birthday in a bigger room.
The rooms are all very clean.
The swimming pool is our favorite place.
Parking access and going to the mall is also very easy.
Location is the main reason why we choose this hotel, because access to "car free day" on Sunday is very near.
Overall we are very satisfied. next time we will choose this hotel again.

Place is very strategic as located in simpang lima heart of semarang
Parking space was limited but provided free valet for hotel guest.

Upgraded to executive suite from junior suite

Room was very big with separate living room with pantry
Had 2 separate bathroom, one with shower
One with bathtub. Also had balcony without view so weird.
Bed was old but still comfy
Wifi fast and stable.
Breakfast not many choices and a bit crowded
If you want to go to pool or gym
You need to switch lift on 6th floor

I think this hotel had renovated the room. The room almost fully renovated. The problem is the parking lot is very limited. They provide vallet parking for free but at lebaran holiday it was very crowded.the breakfast taste is worst. The location is good at Simpang Lima.

I am stayed at this hotel on 5-10 march 2019..i am asking for clean my rooms since 9 am but they havent clean my room until 2 pm. This happens twice. The second time i have to call 3 times. Very bad service

Very poor reception. Had to wait 20 minutes to get my room keys though there were no other guests at the lobby. Really shocking. It felt like there was no one in charge. No supervision and the staff had no clue what they were doing. Hopefully not a trademark of the Grand Arkenso group??!!

Nice hotel and good place.... I mean near from mall and food place. The pool is very good, the people is awesome. Next time i'll be come to stay in here again with my big family. Thanks a lot grand arkenso...
