The breakfast was very good

Cons:

I ask for a repair of the toilet on the first morning. The toilet was permanently slowly flashing and wasted water. The repair was not done till we left 2 days later.

Short but very clean and comfortable
Pros:

We were very tired when we arrived and the young male receptionist was very pleasant and gave us a very nice welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was some distance from Glasgow Central but the buses are frequent. We did not stay for breakfast as we had a train to catch.

Worst experience ever

When I arrived I was told I needed to provide a physical card to have on file "just in case" no where on booking.com or in the property does it say I must have a physical card or be required to pay £100 upfront, even if it is refundable why should I pay more? At the front desk it says "may be required" it doesn't say I have to... Train your staff to be better!!

The staff member I met basically refused to contact the manager about this and said if I didn't want to say they'd put me down as a no show... Even though I was literally there and had paid for my stay, I refused and said call the manager.... eventually and after being very rude to me they did, the manager was then wanting copies of a driving licence and passport... Which is ridiculous, I don't carry either of those on me, the guy then tries to photocopy a picture of my licence from my phone 😒
The facilities are abysmal, this place is very dated, the bed is uncomfortable, the smell from the rooms is like a swimming pool, the breakfast is the cheapest boiled c**p I've seen.

To top it off the building is so old you will literally hear movement from every person in the building above and below, road noise is constant with people also passing by, the windows do nothing.

Parfait pour une nuit à Glasgow
Pros:

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Glasgow, proche des transports en commun. Propre, calme. Personnel de la salle du petit déjeuner très très gentil et serviable.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner est très bon mais il est dommage que tous les aliments proposés ne soient pas ré approvisionnés pour tous les clients, si vous n’êtes pas dans les premiers. Exemple : viennoiseries, crêpes…

Es ist ein schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Wir waren zwei Nächte hier und können das Hotel sehr empfehlen. Das Frühstück hat eine große Auswahl, um gestärkt in den Tag zu starten.

Pros:

Siamo stati solo una notte all Argyll ma ha superato le nostre aspettative! La camera in cui dormivamo era piccola ma pulitissima, abbiamo dormito veramente veramente bene. Letto comodo e cuscini fantastici! In più la colazione veramente eccezionale, curata nei minimi dettagli. Con proposte dolci e salate. Uova bacon succhi di frutta , crepes, torte e tutto buonissimo! Staff gentilissimo e attento! Se dovessimo soggiornare a Glasgow ci torneremo ci torneremo sicuramente .

Cons:

Booked two rooms, the family room was great for having multiple beds. But the 2nd room was anything but - on the 4th floor, no windows only a skylight, very small, very hot, very tiny bathroom with small towels, and a temperamental shower faucet
Also elevator was out for a few hours. So lugging up luggage to 3rd and 4th floor was not fun.
