Over night visit
Pros:

Stayed for one night for the C2C At Ovo Hydro which is within walking distance. Parking is limited so parked on side road and paid the fee until 6pm then free. Room was a twin beds comfy and room warm water nice and hot for shower kettle and tea and hairdresser in room. Breakfast was good and plenty. My only complaint is we stayed in room 103 and not sure if by there heat or boiler room but just heard water running all night almost like a toilet that hasn’t flushed right and keeps trying to refill apart from that would stay again

Won’t stay there again
Pros:

Location and staff

Cons:

No hot water for showers. Very little space in bathroom. Hard to get around sink. No place to put bathroom essentials. Tv did not work

Cheap and cheerful. Nice building and staff but overall stay was not comfortable.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. An excellent spread. I’d like to leave a special mention to Linda who was fantastic. I had dietary concerns and she dealt with it beautifully, offering additional foods and going above and beyond. Wonderful breakfast experience.

Cons:

The bed. Really poor. It was very hard and felt decades old (whether it is or not) the pillows were very insubstantial and I usually sleep slightly raised so this was difficult. I asked the reception team for additional pillows and there weren’t any in the whole hotel, so that wasn’t great. Additionally the heating kept coming on and off randomly, which when it’s freezing outside was also a bit problematic. Good curtains though, total blackout room when they’re drawn which is excellent. The furnishings just felt cheap and old, which for the price I paid wouldn’t constitute great value. It was fine.

A great value, friendly hotel with a very good breakfast in a great location.
Pros:

Great value hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Far exceeded our expectations and great to have a bath even in the cheapest rooms.
