The staff were really friendly.
Our room was facing the road, it was quite noisy the whole time.
Clean facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff.
No toilet paper. Just a few very boring TV channels. Located in heavily muslim-populated area of Singapore that looked more like a third-world country. No nice outside views to speak of.
The staff are a 10/10, very helpful and engaging. Carol and Will (reception) helped us out, making the most of our 3 days in Singapore. Thank you both of you, people like them make the total difference!
The area is gorgeous, but at the same time far from the main tourist attractions (even though Singapore is small and well connected by MRT) it took about 25/30min by MRT to reach the "center" of Singapore.
Had the chance to stay for 2 nights last week. The hotel is in a great spot, right across from Geylang Serai Market and the community centre. There are heaps of food places around, and Paya Lebar MRT is only a few minutes' walk away. The room was really clean (1 believe Toh did the cleaning), and even though it's on the smaller side, it was perfectly fine for two people.
Most of the reception staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Wee and Alp. There was just one lady who gave us a bit of a strange look when we came back from outside, like she thought we weren't guests or hadn't checked in, which felt a bit awkward.
Overal, this is a solid place to stay, and I'd definitely come back here on my next trip to Singapore.
It was good but small rooms as all budget hotels have same.
The friendly and helpful front desk team; and the location of the hotel.
The room is a bit 'cramp', maybe suitable for solo traveler. The hanger's placement is also not convenient, near the writing desk which act as a coffee table as well.
The location.
None.
Staff was amazing. Everything was good. Location is good. Close to a metro station and there are lots of restaurants around
The room is very small
Location near to the Geylang Serai hawker centre was nice. The walk to the nearest MRT station was a little far but doable. The area is dead at night though.
The room I was in had a window which was boarded up from the outside, and it was pretty small, making things a bit claustrophobic. I know accommodation in SG is expensive, but this place felt like a bad tradeoff between price and quality. Spend $100 more and have a great stay somewhere closer to Bugis.
Friendly and helpful staff, exceptionally clean room, nice shower, close to MRT, buses, hawker stalls and restaurants. We liked being in a lively neighborhood. The room was quiet and dark for good sleeping.
Our room did not have a window, and it would be nice to look outside. However, it helped to have a dark room at night. The hairdryer is in a drawer and it's hard to pull out the cord far enough to use easily.
I would seriously mention this 2 staff who took extra miles to meet my requirements to help me upgrade to a more spacious room..premier room for me and my wife to extend my stay..initially my stay was for 4 days 3 night..now that they have arranged for me a bigger room I and my wife we are so pleased to extend our stay for another 2 weeks or more.. Mr Wee and Mr Jeffery..thank you so much..the hotel needs staff like them. Keep it up guys.
The room lighting can be better in some areas.
The staffs were very welcoming and helpful.
