Perfect for a short stay, but pick your room with a WINDOW!
Pros:

The Good: Unbeatable Location & Fantastic Service

Convenience & Transport: The location is absolutely perfect. It is situated right on the main road, making it incredibly easy to hail a taxi to anywhere. It’s also just a 3 to 5-minute walk to the nearest bus stop.

Amenities Nearby: Shaw Plaza is just a short walk away, which has a supermarket, cinema, wellness services, and plenty of places to eat.

Food Lover’s Paradise: Balestier Road is famous for authentic Singaporean restaurants. If you walk a bit further, you’ll find plenty of local hawker centers with amazing food options.

Proximity to Sightseeing: The hotel is only a few kilometers away from the city center, Orchard Road, City Hall, and other major tourist hotspots.

Excellent Staff: The service here is highly responsive. When I requested a replacement for a broken bidet hose in the toilet, the staff immediately came and repaired it. The tiny welcome gesture left on the bed was also a lovely, thoughtful touch.

Cleanliness & Space: The toilet was very clean, and my room on the 2nd floor had good layout space to comfortably fit my luggage.

Cons:

The Bad: Room Quirks & Noise Levels

No Windows: My room was well-lit by warm yellow lights, but it lacked a window. While it was bearable for a 2-day stay, it is very hard to keep track of day and night, which can definitely affect your mood.

TV Remote Issue: The TV remote did not function properly. To get it to work, you had to stand up and point it directly at the back of the TV. Rather than stress over it, I just chose not to use the TV at all.

Thin Walls / Noise: The sound isolation is quite poor. Coming from Finland, I am used to soundproof housing, so this was a bit jarring. I could clearly hear the sounds from the next-door neighbors and doors banging in the hallway as if my own door was wide open. At one point, I even had to call the receptionist because the noise made me think people were fighting on my floor.

Relaxing, enjoyable，peaceful.

Short stay, dont particularly recommend. Stay closer to centre
Pros:

- The bed was comfortable.
- Good air conditioning.
- The guy who helped us move room was very patient and friendly, understanding of the situation we had.

Cons:

- We had to be moved rooms three times. Whilst I expect rooms with no windows to have a certain level of condensation, the two rooms we had were extremely damp, smelly, dusty and quite clearly hadn’t been used in a while. Our third room was ok though.
- The area is not really accessible to Singapore city. Your closest MRT is 17 minutes away walking and taxis would be too expensive to pay in and out each day ( if your on a budget which I would suspect you are if booking here)
- We approached staff for help navigating our way in to the city and other areas, directions and help were not really clear and we just figured it out for ourselves.

Pros:

It was clean and the staff are nice and accommodating! They helped us book our grab and ensure our luggages are safe.

Cons:

Our room has a smell of cigarette when we entered but it disappeared after staying inside the room. We did not know where the cigaratte smell came from. I have reported it to them immediately.

The location is great and very convenient. The room comes with a private bathroom. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our visit.

Cons:

The only downside is that the room is quite small and can feel a bit cramped, especially if you have large luggage.

For short stay is okay cause it is in walking distance to restaus and market. Not for staycation.
Pros:

Bed is comfy and location is close to market and grocery. Helpful staff. Room with window is okay.

Cons:

Smell of cigarette smoke at the lobby (backdoor is open while staff smokes, and in the the toilet too. Dusty furniture and lift malfunctions.
