Good budget hotel in a good location with friendly staff.
Pros:

Short walk to train stations and buses. Close to cafes and Tiong Bahru markets and food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice to have reception staff after so many self check in on our 2 months of travel.

Cons:

Wet bathroom floor after a shower, each time we had to mop up after using. Bedroom Floor wasn’t as clean as it could be, so feet were gritty.

Marcus and Jacky went above and beyond when I needed it most. While I was completely drained and dreading the long drive home to rest, they took the extra effort to arrange a comfortable stay at Hotel 81 for my staff. Truly exceptional service, deep empathy, and absolute lifesavers!
