Beautiful old building..history rich. Bed was comfy

Reasonably priced minimal bar though we didnt utilise any of it.. the prices were very good.

Cons:

Lift was broken. Owner was very obliging manually operating it to avoid climbing the stairs.. I cant fault them for the fault tho..but I wouldn't have been able to climb the stairs... however we needed to descend the stairs when leaving. It won't stop us coming back. We've stayed in a few hotels these past few months. This was the best to date.

Great location, beautiful views, laundry service and lift not working properly.
Pros:

Beautiful gardens, nice large comfortable room with spa bath and gorgeous balcony views over Launceston. Laundry service for a reasonable price was a big bonus!

Cons:

The lift didn’t work and based upon other reviews, it hasn’t been working properly for quite some time. James helped us up to the third level by manually working the lift, although when we left early on the morning of departure, we had to carry our very heavy suitcase down two flights of stairs. The hotel decor could use some work, it’s a little outdated.

disappointed!
Pros:

The size of the room, the bed and bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the towels nice.

Cons:

The TV wasn't working on commercial stations, Netflix was good however there was no-one to assist with the TV. There were no flyscreens on the windows and the a/con was set at 18 no-one was on site. which was way too cold and it couldn't be changed. I did not like fact that there was no-one onsite. To be frank, I would not reccommend this hotel to my friends.

Strolling with luggage in sleeping Launceston

Cons:

The worst tourist experience ever. Money taken for the reservation but we were left on the street at night on arrival. POOR, full of lies communication, confusing signs at the premises and terrible service. No option was given for late check-in, nobody even bothered to call us about the limited check in options. Of course no refund given - 0 care about the customer once the money was paid. Avoid this place if you have self respect.
