A hidden gem, very convenient for getting to the Kirstenbosch Gardens and to the airport

Believe the photos on the website! This is a lovely little gem of a hotel in a beautiful old house. The staff are friendly efficient and welcoming. Our room was spectacular - I don't think we've ever stayed in such a large room in a hotel. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows too. The pool is lovely - big enough to do lengths as well as to plunge in to cool down. It was Friday steak night while we were in the hotel and we thought the steaks, the veg, the wine were all excellent and very good value for money. Staff were very accommodating when I asked for a late check out. And the spa is lovely - I had an excellent massage. It was the perfect place to spend our last day in South Africa

Alles was perfect, van de medewerkers tot aan het geweldige diner! Mooie upgrate gekegen bij aankomst. Bij het verlaten van het hotel vergeten onze kluis leeg te halen🙈 Ze hadden een koerier geregeld die het achter ons aanbracht naar onze volgende locatie. Echt een geweldige service! Top locatie en mooi verblijf👌 Zeker aan te bevelen!! Hopen nog een keer terug te komen😍

Beautiful and tranquil Palm House is georgeous!
Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed Palm House. Beautiful premises and outright lovely staff. Dinner at De Tafel was a great experience and so were the breakfasts out on the terrace. Definitley recommend to stay here! Thanks to the entire crew.

Pros:

An der Unterkunft gab es nichts auszusetzen. Wir waren im Poolhaus unterbracht. Wir wurden insgesamt sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend empfangen. Das hauseigene Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Cons:

Ein kleines Manko ist die auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite befindliche Schule, von dort kommt morgens vor Beginn der Schule und während der Pausenzeiten sehr lautes Geschrei der tobenden Kinder herüber. Mit der Morgenruhe war es leider um 7:00 Uhr vorbei.

Cons:

Fernbedienung der Klimaanlage war zweimal defekt, nicht auszuschalten, so dass die Nacht etwas kalt war.
