Enjoyed my stay, particularly the Porthmadog to Caernarfon steam railway.
Pros:

Food was good!

Cons:

Smoking area (between hotel & garage) covered in bird droppings. A few minutes with a pressure washer would fix this.
First night dinner, only 4 tables in use. Why did the staff direct diners to distant corners of room? Very anti-social!

I really enjoyed it and have already booked for next June.
Pros:

The hotel was cosy comfortable and the facilities were excellent. In room refreshments were excellent. A proper old fashioned hotel with modern facilities.

Dissapointed stay
Pros:

Bed was comfy

Cons:

Overpriced, on entering room window wide open to mask the smell of damp dog. Cobwebs all around ceiling paintwork was very discoloured very small sink unable to fill electric kettle overpriced breakfast £ 20 per person extra ( did not have breakfast) Dissapointed wont be be retuning .

Pros:

Clean and tidy room, if a little cramped. Staff very attentive and on the ball. Food offerings were enjoyable and of good quality. Clincher for my booking this hotel were its location for the surrounding Snowdonia national park and the fact it had a parking area for my motorcyle.

Cons:

A little more space in a single booking room would have been appreciated.

Disgusting hotel dirty and smelly
Pros:

This hotel is nothing like how it appears on your website. Also it is dirty and smells musty especially the rooms smell And the tv in the room was tiny better of watching your phone

Cons:

Did not stay lost my money as know refund left hotel after a hour to find somewhere else to stay. I will never use booking.com again hotels are not what they say they are

Very nice experience, would come again
Pros:

Food was excellent, staff including cleaning staff were amazing, we had a room change which was much better for our needs, very accommodating staff.

Cons:

The first room wasn’t very big or as clean as we would have liked,

Overall a positive stay!
Pros:

Everything was clean, bathroom, bed sheets, towels etc

Cons:

There's not much you can do about the size of the bed, but we are used to a larger bed. I dont think you can fit a larger bed in the room we had.

The only other thing that I didn't like was when I made a cup of tea in the morning, the milk had gone off.

Could have been better
Pros:

Very friendly staff

Cons:

Room didn't look like the photos. More like student accommodation. Uncomfortable bed. Very small dated room. Very dated hotel
