Pros:

The facilities at the hotel were excellent, and the location was perfect. Far enough away for a good price and quiet location, while close enough for a good price on taxis.

Pros:

Excellent value, comfortable room, great breakfast. Shame the brasserie has closed, but understandable in the current climate. You'll feel like you're getting a bargain

Perfectly positioned for visiting York. and central for meeting friends and family.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked with plenty of choice.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Good location, great staff, would definitely stay again

Cons:

I booked a 4 poster bed and that was not available on check in. Also staff gave away the surprise procecco and chocolates at the desk. Staff tried to accommodate but unfortunately was not possible. We were a bit disappointed as it was my partners birthday weekend away. Everything was great, just unfortunately a couple of disappointment, but great stay, great staff over all.

Beautiful but wouldn’t stay again
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful and very clean

Cons:

No hot water and after travelling for 3 hours we wanted a shower but no hot water. We was exhausted and did not want to swap rooms as we arrived at 8pm. It was beautiful but £15 to park the car no where in the hotel to eat and no hot water. Shame because the hotel was lovely.
