Dolce Vita Guesthouse

Al llegar el día y hora concertada para la entrega del alojamiento, la persona responsable no se encontraba, disculpándose con el guardia que estaría de regreso a las 16:30 hrs. o sea en tres horas más.
Al volver a las 16:30 hrs. y ser llamado por teléfono por Conserje, no se presenta, transcurrido 15 minutos, nos vimos en la obligación de buscar otro alojamiento.

Fernando, the host, was helpful in navigating the surroundings and provided good advice for a local outing. On the other hand, he demanded a cash payment which came to me as a surprise and put me under considerable duress navigating ATM withdrawal limits etc. In the end he accepted a combination of Euros and dollars, which completely depleted me of any cash resources. None of the information from Hotels.com or from himself indicated that a cash payment was required. I only stayed for one night and had to leave early am to catch a flight. To my surprise the shower was lukewarm, and I was shivering while taking the shower. This is clearly a sign that the host is only interested in maximizing profits at the expense of his guests. None of the aforementioned niceties count unless basic needs are met.

Fernando was a charming host who really makes his guests feel at home. It really was a 5 star experience. The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The rooms large and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Views from the balcony were superb over a tasty and healthy breakfast. The location was very convenient for both Estoril and Cascais and totally secure. I would highly recommend Dolce Vita Guesthouse to family and friends and will certainly be staying there on my next trip. Many thanks Fernando!

Fernando is the perfect host! He made me and my sweetheart feel so warm and welcome -a beautiful place and room, the Green room, in a beatiful area within walking distance to so much and half an hour by train into Lisboa. Fernando made us a delicious breakfast and gave us wonderful recommendations as to what to do and where to eat. I can only say the best things about him and his hospitality - if you're going to the area - stay with Fernando! we'll be back!

Excellent stay in spacious room, spotlessly clean, very nice breakfast table, access to large and quiet pool and only short walk to the beach as well as to conference center. But above all add the extremely good, helpful and very friendly service provided by Tatiana and Fernando, voila then you have a formula that I will happily apply also at my next stay in Lisbon/Estoril.

Our stay at the Dolce Vita was everything we hoped it would be. The room was really comfortable, and well set up. Breakfast was excellent, and Fernando our host was always on hand to assist if we needed recommendations, taxis booking etc. Highly recommended!

Fantastisch uitzicht vanaf het terras, lieve mensen, fijne sfeer en erg mooie kamer en gemeenschappelijke ruimtes!

Have spent 14 summers traveling through 22 European countries and not sure if I have ever stayed at a cleaner, nicer, more pleasant place then this little three room guesthouse! Close to beach and amazing restaurants and a short train ride to Lisbon, Cascais and Belem... For the price you can't beat it! Could not ask for a nicer more gracious host than Fernando who organized a day trip by car to Sintra for us and gave great advice even many days after we'd moved on, via Facebook messages! Definitely plan to stay here again someday!!

Dette er ikke akkurat noe hotell, men en stor leilighet der eieren har innredet tre gode gjesterom med egne bad, og selv bor ovenpå. Alt var meget ordentlig. Hyggelig frokost sammen med de andre gjestene. Verten en vennlig mann som gjerne forteller om lokale skikker og kultur. Et tips: Drosjesjåførene vet ikke nødvendigvis hvor Dolce Vita er; ha gateadressen for hånden.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Dolce Vita Guesthouse and well looked after by Fernando the owner who went out of his way to make our stay so special. He was so helpful in every way and gave us advice about places to go and places to eat. Would certainly recommend him to all our friends.

Uitzonderlijk vriendelijke en behulpzame man die met veel passie deze guesthouse runt. Attente uitbater die graag nuttige tips met u deelt.
Vriendelijke sfeer, uitstekend ontbijt met streekproducten.
Wij hadden een grote kamer met een zeer comfortabel bed.
Grote woonkamer die je als gast kan gebruiken (TV, boek, ....) en een mooi terras met zicht op de stad en de zee.

The host was very attentive and helpful in providing local information on what was best to visit. The whole place was impeccably clean and having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the bay of Cascais made the start of the day very special.

Det vi satte ekstra pris på med dette stedet var den gode informasjonen som eieren ga oss om portugal generellt samt hva som foregikk i Estoril og Cascais. Eieren er veldig engasjert i sine gjester.Stedet har 3 soverom og vi lå på det grønne rommet som hadde i motsetning til de andre rommene en balkong rett utenfor soverommet. Men vi alle kunne også benytte en stor felles balkong med utsikt over hele Estoril området. Stedet var veldig godt rengjort og innbydende. Bassengområdet i tilknytning til leilighetskomplekset var flott. Det er noen gode restauranter i området, og eieren forteller hvilken man bør besøke.Mannen min og jeg tenker at stedet egner seg best for voksne eller med store barn. Vi var der 3 netter, og kan anbefale dette stedet til andre.

What a wonderful place to stay. Our host, Fernando, could not have been more helpful. He pays attention to the likes and dislikes of his individual guests, and always has many suggestions of places to visit and things to do. We never failed to enjoy the things he suggested, which even included a concert by a local quartet, which we would never have known about if we had not met Fernando. The apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast on the balcony is a bonus.

Det här är inte ett hotell utan ett lägenhetspensionat. Man bor i ett av totalt tre rum där varje rum har sitt eget badrum. Frukost (kostar 8 euro per person) serveras på balkongen eller i det gemensamma vardagsrummet. Alla bekvämligheter finns och servicen är mycket god - och personlig. Vi fick många tips på riktigt bra lokala restauranger och unika sevärdheter som vi annars skulle ha missat.

This is a private apartment in a block with three bedrooms. The setting is excellent and only five minutes from the beach. Ther is car parking available. There are no meal services but the local restaurants and patiseries within easy walking distance. The owner is very kind and helpful. The rooms and en suite were spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. Overall a very pleasent place to stay and the host could not be more helpful.

Fernando,el propietario,es un encanto de persona.Dispuesto a facilitar todo tipo de información y a hacer la estancia mas agradable.El propietario vive en el mismo piso pero para nada es entrometido y te hace sentir como en tu propia casa.La casa de olé y la urbanización tambien.
