Muy buena ubicación para recorrer el centro histórico a pie y en auto las distintas playas.
Pros:

Lo que más nos gustó fue la ubicación cerca del centro histórico... a muy poca distancia de la zona de restaurantes cubano, italiano , peruano etc. Se disfrutaba ir caminando a la noche. Podiamos estacionar nuestro auto en la puerta.
El estilo del edificio restaurado respetando su historia.

Cons:

La primer noche tuvimos una habitación enorme muy confortable pero no tenía puerta el baño y estaba enfrentado a la cama , como no estuvimos conformes nos solucionaron en breve el problema , al día siguiente cambiamos de habitación .

Pros:

O Hotel é uma espécie de vilinha. Fica numa região antiga, mas revitalizada (se não me engano). Parece um local cenográfico. Bem legal. Ficamos num quarto/chalé ao lado do Restaurante Ginger. Às quintas, eles promovem festas, com música ao vivo; e toda a região fica muito animada. Gostamos muito. Na quarta, assistimos um belo grupo de jazz tocando num bar q fica há uma quadra (Mr. Potter). Foi muito legal. Mas naquela região, nos outros dias, não havia muitas coisas p fazer, à noite, apesar de ser muito próximo do centro (ponte Emma). Além disto, não há nenhuma praia exatamente ali. Entre as mais bonitas, a mais próxima fica a pelo menos 15min (de carro). Então, se fosse p voltar ou p escolher um hotel, hoje, com base na região, creio q eu escolheria algum outro na região de Jan Thiel.

Cons:

I like noise from living in cities , but if you like quiet you won’t like it. The space itself was kind of dark. Would have loved some form of outdoor space . Pools didn’t feel particularly welcoming

Is absoluut niet de definitie’boutique hotel’ . Is appartement verhuur

Is gelegen nabij het oudere centrum en goed toegankelijk naar restaurants

Cons:

Op de website wordt een foto zichtbaar van een mooi aanzicht van het boutique hotel. Niets is minder waar want eigenlijk is de foto de receptie /kantoorruimte waarbij je, na inchecken , 150 meter verder gebracht wordt en in een soort appartement terecht komt (waar ook kantoor gehouden wordt ) waarbij je het gevoel hebt een studentenkamer binnen te stappen.

Wil wel gezegd hebben dat, nadat ik had laten blijken niet tevreden te zijn, een upgrade kreeg naar een veel ruimere kamer in de het hoofdgebouw die je ook op de foto’s ziet en waar we blij mee waren en dat tegemoet kwam aan de verwachtingen . Dat werd netjes opgelost. Complimenten.

Het zou mijn optiek netter zijn voor toekomstige bezoekers om duidelijk te vermelden dat ze niet in het gebouw zitten welk op de foto’s staat en dat dit gene definitie boutique hotel is. Dat is misleidend. Daarnaast is de prijs verhouding voor hetgeen je krijgt , absoluut niet in verhouding.

Het verblijf bij Pietermaai heeft ons een heerlijke vakantie bezorgd
Pros:

Erg vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamer en er werd direct gereageerd door ons een andere kamer aan te bieden toen wij overlast hadden van de bovenburen.

Cons:

Het is vrij gehorig. Maar nadat wij een andere kamer kregen hebben wij er geen last meer van gehad.
