Two things
1 No exterior air intake. The only air coming into the room comes from the air conditioning system that has a self regulation based on I suppose the maximum temperature you ask for on the control panel. This means that once the temperature is reached the air intake stops. The extraction is taken out through the bathroom wall grill. This seems to work when the bathroom light is on. The problem is that when the bathroom door is shut the air in the bedroom is not extracted. There is no space under the glass bathroom door ( the VMC method requires space under bathroom and kitchen extraction to produce an air flow from living and bedroom spaces where air intake is provided and the extraction works "en continu").
2 Fire security. My room was on the 7th floor, central corridor at the end of a 30 metres corridor, fire exit using stairs at the end. I suppose that the stairs are in a concrete wall construction with fire resistant quality. Anyway the windows in the room are unbreakable no way of getting air in to the room if fire and intoxicating gasses get into the room. There is little chance of getting out of the room so conditions for survival need to be created inside the the room. This means an external grill with an automatic autonomous air intake working when the fire alarm comes on TV
