The location is excellent for accessing the old town and harbor area in Bristol.
The hallway carpets need a good clean.
The room was reasonably clean and well appointed. The location was fair, with relatively easy access to the city centre, tourist and university area. The evening/night staff were helpful and informative.
We tried to book a taxi at reception. The deskman seemed to find this an unusual request and had some difficulty. The Taxi never arrived. We eventually booked an Uber ourselves.
Car parking is too expensive considering the cost of the room.
The bathroom was superb and clean, had aircon for hot weather and was clean and comfortable bedding

Fabulous air con which was needed in the heatwave! Clean, standard room as expected for a hotel like this.
Breakfast was dissapointing

The housekeeping service did not meet my expectations during our stay. The room was not properly cleaned, and the attention to detail was disappointing. One of the cups provided still had visible coffee stains, and although we requested a clean replacement cup, it was never delivered.
We also requested basic items such as bowls, plates, and ice cubes, but instead of having them brought to our room, we had to personally go downstairs to collect them ourselves. This was inconvenient and not the level of service expected from a hotel.
Additionally, the parking/drop-off arrangement was frustrating. Taxis and Uber drivers were unable to drop guests directly at the car park due to the lack of a grace period, which made drivers reluctant to enter and drop us off there. This created unnecessary inconvenience, especially when arriving with luggage.
Overall, the service experience was below expectations, and I hope the hotel can improve its housekeeping response, guest assistance, and arrival/drop-off arrangements for future guests.
Room was lovely, we was in an executive room. Breakfast was nice. Air con was lovely.
Only thing was the long walk to our room, but that is just my laziness

Had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn hotel in Bristol! The location is absolutely excellent and made exploring the city so convenient. Check-in was an absolute breeze thanks to the efficient front desk team, and Vikram went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. A special shoutout to Amit, the chef, who was incredibly accommodating and prepared wonderful Jain food for us.
