Een goed Hotel maar niet iedereen aardig en niet iedereen behulpzaam.

De personeel van de Air Conditioning super professioneel en aardig.

Cons:

Een vrouw receptionist…. Niet aardig, de dag van de aankomst. Vroeg me geld voor de doeken voor de zwembad en aan andere mensen niet. Ik zei dat op dat moment zou de zwembad niet gebruiken en 2 dagen na mijn man heeft 2 kaarten voor de doeken en zonder probleem.

A consistently excellent hotel in the perfect location for my trips
Pros:

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I would happily stay here again.

The location is perfect for me. It's right by the river with a lovely park that's ideal for walking or cycling, and there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. It was also conveniently close to the venue where I was attending an event, which made getting around really easy.

The hotel itself is excellent. The staff are always warm, welcoming and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped. The beds and pillows are especially comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep after a busy day.

I genuinely couldn't find any downsides to my stay. The area is peaceful, the hotel is consistently of a high standard, and it has become my preferred place to stay whenever I'm attending events nearby.

Good for short stays
Pros:

+ Good standard, clean, big, very good views from the rooms at high levels, nice location by the river Manzanares, very nice that they welcome mascots (but not in the restaurant/breakfast room). A nice little terrace in the garden where it was ok to bring your dog. Very good food in the restaurant, but maybe a little pricey. Garage (expensive). Several coffee machines in the breakfast room and a good selection of food.
- Two of three elevators were out of order in the most busy hours in the weekend, big problem when you live on the top floor! It was not fixed until the evening. A misunderstanding at check-in took a long time for me to fix, time that was taken from our very precious and short visit in Madrid. No working communication whatsoever between the reception staff and the restaurant, which became another big problem about a meal for several people that we had booked in advance but there was no reservation noted, and when we at last had the meal they were short on staff and short of several of the meals in the menu! The poor (but very nice) girl who served at our table was under a lot of stress because of it. It kind of ruined my birthday celebration a little… at least the food they did have was very good and we managed to enjoy a good time anyway!
Very noisy inside at breakfast time but ok in the garden.
We had a much better experience the first time we stayed in this hotel two years ago so we hope it was only our bad luck this time, because in the end it is a nice place to stay!
