I was disappointed I didn’t receive the room I was offered online and couldn’t get the difference

Wonderful stay
Pros:

Great place to stay. Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Nice breakfast everyday. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

Exceeded Expectations
Pros:

Was traveling on a group discount and Jamie, manager, adjusted the options to accommodate my needs. The King room with refrigerator and microwave was comfortable and clean. This was a work trip but already planning to return for a visit with my husband for a getaway.

The staff was really helpful an friendly. Anthony in particular was helpful with many things, but all of the staff was. My wife was a little late for breakfast and they took the time to look for some fruit for us to take on the road.

Great Home Away From Home
Pros:

The Hampton Inn/Eagle Point in Birmingham, Alabama, was my “home away from home” while my house was being completely renovated. The manager was so accommodating when I explained my situation and requirements, showing me a sample room, and making me feel very welcome.

I am a 70-year-old widow, and safety was very important to me, as well as finding a good venue for my small dog staying with me. My reservation there was a long-term stay, and I felt extremely safe and comfortable during my visit.

I walked my dog Riley several times a day and night and enjoyed the blooming camellia bushes (even in very cold weather) and holly trees surrounding the well-kept property.

One amenity that I enjoyed having access to was a laundry room, which I utilized twice a week. It was nice to not have to go to a laundromat to wash and dry my clothes.

The staff were friendly and conscientious. They were always working: cleaning, stripping beds, vacuuming, mopping, and doing paint touch-ups if needed.

Since I was staying on a long-term basis, I used housekeeping once a week. The ladies did a super job of cleaning our room and making it perfect for our return.

A delicious, hot breakfast was available every morning, and I absolutely loved the fresh coffee that was available all day.

I would recommend the Hampton Inn/Eagle Point to anyone visiting the Birmingham area on a short-term basis or to individuals needing a place to stay for a longer period of time, such as myself.
