Unfortunately, the room I was given was right next to a construction site.
When I called to inform the staff, the female staff member told me that I couldn’t change rooms unless I upgraded and paid extra. The hotel wasn’t even half full at the time, so it was quite disappointing. It would have been a great opportunity to create a positive impression for a first-time guest, but instead, I was met with unhelpful response. On the other hand, the male receptionist was very kind, polite, and welcoming — I appreciated his attitude.
It’s a pity, because I had planned to come back during the ski season, but after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be staying at this hotel again.
Also The room still had some dust on the phone and the desk.

Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sehr sauber.Das Frühstück war reichlich und sehr gut.

Malheureusement il y avait des chantiers autour de l'hôtel (vous n'y pouvez rien), mais à part ça, la vue est belle et l'hôtel se situe à un endroit calme mais quand même près du centre.

Очень приветливый персонал. Мы спустились с Хёрнли и нам дали комнату даже немного раньше чек-ина. Внутри безупречный вид на Маттерхорн, но немного портит вид стройка и кран напротив, но радует, что персонал извинился за это и оставил беруши. В комнате стоит кофемашина и 4 капсулы кофе, бесплатная вода 2 бутылки и очень приятный душ с разными режимами. Ну и разумеется ванная посреди комнаты. Просто чудесно. Удобный балкон, хорошая сауна. Жаль только, что персонал работает до 19:30, а сауна и джакузи после 16:00, по незнанию можно не успеть использовать эту возможность. Но в целом, отелю ставлю максимальный бал за все. Плюс я получил ваучер на 10 франков за мой рейтинг в букинге, что порадовало тоже :)

Nice room, comfy bed, top view of the Matterhorn (except from the cranes because of the construction site they only told us about after we booked). Very clean and good location. There was no hotel bar unfortunately, so no cocktails available, but there was a self service fridge with a small selection, which was a little bit overpriced tho. Bring your own wine to have a nice drink on the balcony.

close to town, nice cosy atmosophere had an excellent stay at your hotel. The staff were professional and welcoming, the facilities were well maintained, and the room was both comfortable and spotless. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the high standard of service. Thank you for making my visit such a pleasant experience

Das Frühstück hatte alles was es braucht am Morgen. tip top
Die Lage ist gut. zu Fuss ab Bahnhof ca.15 Min. (super) oder
mit dem Ortsbus ab Bahnhof bis Kirchbrücke. (grüne Linie) dann noch zu Fuss 5 Min.

Die Baustelle neben dem Hotel hat uns gar nicht gestört.

The staff is great, super friendly.
The breakfast is versatile and delicious.
The room has a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn, with a balcony and a seat swing (drinking your morning coffee on that and watching the Matterhorn was amazing).
The bathroom is spacious and has everything you might need.
Since there are construction works next door (which is not the hotel’s fault, and also listed on booking.com that summer is construction season) they provided ear plugs and wrote a little note apologising on their neighbour’s behalf, which was thoughtful, we really appreciated that, even though you don’t hear anything from inside.
The bed was super comfortable, and there were 2 pillows (the first time we found 2 pillows in switzerland).
