Looking over the golf course
The room could do with a update and fridge for the price also paint retouch or wall wash as hand prints. The plug sockets had paint on them, shower tray cracked. No bottle water. Carpets need a good wash.

No water supplied in rooms, I felt a hotel of this price should provide water in the rooms. Also AC didn’t seem to work very well if not at all.
Hotel is well located for our trip purpose. Gym and spa were comprehensive. Lounge bar and food options were good although prices high for quality offered. Good parking availability. Air-con worked well and kept room cool in very high temps.
Room was not as good as remembered from previous stays, room was old and lacked a fridge, balcony was dirty, all the sockets are for 3-pin 240V or old-style internet cables, no USB sockets available. Changing rooms are dirty and shower cubicles are school standard in the spa/gym area. Bar food was not great and bar was very noisy with golfing guests. Golfing facilities do not allow people to use range unless you have your own clubs (no range only club lends available).

The staff were friendly. The room was fine if not a bit dated.
The spa was dated and wasn’t really a spa.
The changing rooms were dirty and the showers were in poor condition. There were not enough lounge chairs by the pool and only plastic chairs.
The towels were very small and a lot of the lockers did not work.

Bedroom was spacious clean and very comfortable.
The full English breakfast was very greasy and tasted greasy. I couldn’t eat it and it put me off eating anything else as I couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth. Genuinely, the worst full English breakfast I’ve ever had. My wife had the scrambled egg which was fine but unseasoned.
The surrounding area was beautiful and the gardens are beautiful
The building is old,rooms need upgrades and a good clean,specially the bathrooms are so out of date and looks like hospital toilets, they didn’t even have water bottles in the rooms.
Breakfast was not buffet style,we had to order so we didn’t like that,not much options.

Views were stunning, as you would expect on a golf course. Food was good, especially evening meal steak & chips. Staff were really helpful, especially when we wanted to dress a function room and dispose of boxes.
Rooms and food areas a bit tired. Need updating.
Staff could be a bit more polished and special. Breakfast, would’ve preferred granola to be with cereal choices as self serve.
We had a suite which was fantastic, but could have done with more shampoo sachais as 1 for 2 guests not quite enough.
