Lovely hotel and very peaceful
View of pipes and blocked views
Views were stunning, as you would expect on a golf course. Food was good, especially evening meal steak & chips. Staff were really helpful, especially when we wanted to dress a function room and dispose of boxes.
Rooms and food areas a bit tired. Need updating.
Staff could be a bit more polished and special. Breakfast, would’ve preferred granola to be with cereal choices as self serve.
Clean and comfortable
None
We had a suite which was fantastic, but could have done with more shampoo sachais as 1 for 2 guests not quite enough.
Size of room, cleanliness bed very comfy.
Convenient. Everything was ok
It's dated. Feels like a luxury hotel from the nineties. Guy serving drinks in the bar needs some basic customer service training. Overall the place is fine / ok.
Location and bedrooms
Not enough staff in bars
Comfortable bed, spacious room. Good breakfast.
It was very large and reminiscent of a large conference centre. Hotel bar a little lacking in atmosphere.
Staff friendly
Facilities felt tired and in need of reservations. Minimal assistance with bags when travelling with two children and multiple journeys required. Limited time to use the pool for kids which made it not possible. No early breakfast option available and limited room service.
I like it was sitting in some very beautiful grounds
Ltd choice on the restaurant menus. Jacuzzi is not real or maintained missing tiles and looked dirty. The swimming pool was on clean especially around it.
View, spa and food.
Lovely views over the golf course
If you do not play golf, it is really not for you, it is 100% golf oriented, I tried to book a manicure (just to give me something to do) but there were no spa staff on the premises who could do treatments, maybe a weekend would have been better, we stayed on a Monday night.
Size of room. Location.
Poor staff attitude at check in (did not feel welcome) and golf club. Golf club refused to lend us clubs to use on the driving range, even though they had some available (very poor service, I would have been happy to pay for a set - went to local driving range instead, who were very accommodating - no idea why club wanted to lose money and offer no service!). Room had a balcony light that could not be turned off and made room very bright at night (was told nothing they could do about it, again, very poor service!).
large and beautiful territory, comfortable spa area
The food is terrible and the attitude of the reception staff is wanting better.
The location was excellent, the place is nice to walk around . Very quite and well taken care off
Nothing
Great location beautiful setting
WiFi was rubbish, kept dropping out and due to remote location literally no signal on EE whatsoever.
There for business stay - WiFi caused me issues regarding work.
Floodlight outside on balcony that could not be turned off was annoying, not the light but due to fitment of the curtains allowed too much light under and over the top for my liking so the room was not dark enough. Better curtains or switch to turn off the floodlight with as much wattage as our sun!
