Although the hotel does not have private parking facilities due to its prominent location in the town center, it is located very close to a public pay display car park. It is only chargeable between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00, and overnight it is free (advisable to put a ticket on your car overnight as it does not start charging until the morning, so then saving you the inconvenience of rushing out early in the morning). There are also numerous alternative parking facilities around the town, some of which are free and all within walking distance of the hotel.
Check-in after 23:00 is only possible by contacting the property at least 48 hours in advance. Reception closes at 23:00 after which access is not possible.
Please note that extra beds can only be accommodated in selected Superior and Executive rooms, subject to a charge per night.Extra beds should be requested before arrival and are only guaranteed once confirmed by the hotel.
Pets: Assistance & guide dogs are permitted.

Lovely quaint pub feel, the staff were more than accommodating, our little dog was welcome and the breakfast outstanding
The room and bathroom were uncomfortably small, no room to move around. No storage space
The Swan is perfectly located to explore the town and the castle. The pictures don't do justice to the beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable rooms! The recently renovated establishment is a gem. The staff was helpful and the instructions are simple and clear. The pub is also an excellent choice for breakfast and supper. Plenty of breakfast options were included and the supper menu was varied and elaborate. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely sleep here again.

Room was nice although perhaps a bit on the small side but was fine for one night. Large bathroom and shower. Excellent breakfast, great location close to restaurants , castle and other pubs.
Room was very warm as you couldn't open the window very wide but a fan had been provided.
We loved everything about the room except for the dirty exterior windows in the bedroom and bathroom.

The shower!
No pressure, you have to run around in it to get wet! Hardly any pressure.
Dynamic pricing. This hotel is really convenient for Goodwood and so the room was double its normal price as the Goodwood Revival was on.
Great choice and excellent quality for breakfast. The full healthy option was exceptional and unusual. Location was terrific, right in the centre of town. Comfortable bedroom but shower needed attention.
