Goed eten.. ik kwam hier om te fietsen… het dorpje heeft verder denk ik weinig te bieden

Personeel en het eten.
Ik was alleen en had een 1 persoons kamer met balkon. Dat was prima qua grote..

Cons:

enige nadeel vond ik dat het best gehorig was . Of sommige buren waren vrij luid ‘s ochtends rond 6:15

The best
Pros:

Literally everything. The aesthetic of the entire property. From dinner to rooms to spa. Pool was one of a kind. Town was precious. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more! Will be coming back and recommending to all friends and family.

Cons:

Bed / mattress could’ve been more comfortable. More pillows would have been great.

Wunderschönes Hotel, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Appartment im Nebenhaus gebucht, leider war es sehr kalt, da es zur Zeit noch Vorsaison ist und die Heizung schon abgedreht wurde.

Nur durch mehrmaliges Bitten wurde die Heizung eingeschaltet .
Aber leider nicht lange.
Der Blick vom Appartment war nicht so schön, wir schauten in das landwirtschaftliche Stallgebäude des Nachbarn.

Wir waren mit unseren 3 Kindern unterwegs, die mussten in Notbetten im Wohnzimmerbereich übernachten.

Dafür Wellnessbereich top.

Beheizter Aussenpool und Whirlpool sehr nett, jedoch in direkter Nachbarschaft zu einem landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb mit Kühen und entsprechenden Geruchskulisse

Cons:

Das gebuchte Deluxezimmer entsprach nicht den Bildern. Keine Holzvertäfelung, nicht einmal Bilder an den Wänden, daher sehr uncharmant.
Vielleicht lag es an der frühen Saison jedoch war das Hotel teils gespenstisch leer, Bar und Aufenthaltsräume waren dunkel, kaum Mitarbeiter zu sehen, alles wenig einladend.
Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption könnten freundlicher und willkommender sein.

Excellent friendly staff
Pros:

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mareo Dolomites. The staff was friendly and competent. The spa was lovely and the location was just right for us. We also enjoyed the food, which was fresh and delicious.

A gem of a hotel
Pros:

A lovely, peaceful hotel with spacious rooms and great views out to the Erta World Cup piste. The spa facilities are a lovely treat after a day on the slopes. The restaurant is excellent, with a wide-ranging buffet (soup, salads, veg, and often other small entrees) and a choice of starter and main and a desert.
Transfer to the ski area is very efficient, and St.Vigilio itself is a lovely base for Kronplatz local slopes and is close to the bus link with the Sella Ronda. The staff are all very helpful and work very well as a team to make everything run smoothly and efficiently.

Fabulous hotel.
Pros:

We had a wonderful week of skiing here in Feb 2026. The hotel is stunning and the rooms and food are fabulous. The wellness area is possibly the highlight of all the highlights. And you can even order a drink and nibbles from the comfort of your lounger. My partner ended the week with a very bad and the staff were so accommodating. Highly recommend a stay. It was our second visit and seeing the hotel and the village in the snow was even more spectacular.

Beautifully cozy family-run hotel with a 5 star dinner every night that will make you thank the Gods for tastebuds!
Pros:

Great choice to ski Kronplatz (and alta badia too!!!) while visiting with family or solo! Amazing dinner every night (several plates surpassed stuff ive eaten at highly acclaimed michellin starred restaurants). Easy access to ski slopes with private van every morning and afternoon. Super cozy bar and lounge area. Nice rooms and good enough pool and spa! Also, you can tell all the employees like working for the family and it just makes it such a pleasant experience all around!

The perfect base for a week's skiing - with fantastic hospitality
Pros:

Travelling with Inghams from the UK, we had a week's skiing in Kronplatz, staying in Hotel Mareo during early February 2026. What a fantastic hotel!

This family owned and run hotel exemplifies the best of Sud Tirol's attitudes and approach to good hospitality. Lovely clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, fabulous food and a relaxing spa and pool to enjoy after every day's skiing. We were made to feel very welcome (irrespective of being part of a British package holiday). I genuinely have nothing negative to say - we wanted for nothing.

Thank you for looking after us, and for making our stay so comfortable.

Excellent stay for Dolomites and Sella Ronda skiing
Pros:

Picturesque location with wonderful ambience, exquisite food and excellent service. We've stayed here many times and it is always superb. Convenient shuttles to the lift, fine dining and a magical pool stand out.
