Staff member was helpful. Room was comfortable and beds were comfy..Complementary wine and water was nice.
The room bathroom was not the cleanest looking. The adult scampi and chips meal was a child size so very poor value and the breakfast was not great with the hot food being very dry and overcooked.
Room itself wasn't bad, and for the location I was travelling to for work it was conveniently located.
Everything - hotel name has not been updated on maps or Uber yet, so it difficult to find and easy to miss. At check in there was a power cut - cant be helped, but nobody came to the room to let anyone know that power was back on. Lack of facilities in the room - no desk, only one side table, lack of accessible power sockets, no hair dryer, no fridge, flush on toilet did not work - bathroom taps - red side was cold, blue side was hot ?!?!?!? Entrance to hotel pull door was actually push - push door was actually pull?!?!? Breakfast had only one slice of bread on display for over an hour, sausagues were very poor quality - 2 eggs in bowl, both with broken yolks - kitchen staff looked at all of this and obviosuly thought was fine and to an acceptable standard and did nothing to refill or cook more. No salt or pepper. Toaster not turned on.
Liked everything, lovely room, amazing staff, great breakfast and had an amazing steak dinner.

Very spacious , clean room. Great value for money. The surrounding area is very beautiful. Had a peaceful sleep in very comfortable beds.
Staff very friendly we had a leak from the bath it was dealt with rapidly.
The hotel has just been taken over so appreciate it takes time to get sorted previous owners let it go.
Our room was very dated. Shower didn’t work correctly plus broken. Had a leak from the bath. Carpet and door damaged bed very uncomfortable also made us both very itchy.
Located in a lovely countryside location. Hotel is inviting and has appealing decor and even though we arrived late, we received a warm welcome.
We stayed last year and the bedrooms have certainly been upgraded.
Bedding and room were lovely and clean.
We needed an iron and this together with the ironing board was brought to the room for us.
We ate at the hotel this year and this didn’t really seem to be an option last year.
There’s a decent choice with a variety of prices.
We had breakfast included in the price and although we slept through the first one we were given a grab box with cutlery to take our breakfast with us as we were needing to leave early on the last morning.
Not really negatives to be honest / we needed a bigger bin in the room as we seemed to accrue quite a bit of rubbish. And, although there were tea and coffee facilities in the room, I fancied a latte after our meal. Perhaps nobody else has asked so there is no call for it apart from me so I fully understand.
Cute little hotel in the country side you can see they are trying to modernise it.

Bed bugs in the bed told staff their reply was ok with a smile.

Area was nice, plenty of parking spaces and staff very friendly and obliging.
Breakfast was a disappointment. When you enter the restaurant area, no-one to greet you and explain about food options. No plates, or side plates, no teaspoons. Tables not set-up for breakfast, and you had to ask staff where the food was. Although full English breakfast was available I asked for precise items of food, only to be given a full English breakfast. Food was ample and generous size portions. Juice selection was not very nice watery and flavour not good. Baked beans were watered down too much. The hotel itself was very nice and staff were helpful, would I stay there again? Probably, however I would take my own breakfast to eat in the room. Beautiful countryside around you and very peaceful.
