Staff were amazing. Room excellent value for money and a fabulous breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble 😊
Had trouble finding our room. The signs stopped at 64 and we were in 65. 😂
Clean, comfortable, quiet. Easy check-in despite being later than planned..Good staff ratio and professional when spoken to or needed. Generally good value for money. Parking and breakfast included (self-service).
Generally, this is a hotel that has seen better days, has been taken over by a Sri Lankan restaurant/management team and I wish them well as they work to revamp the hotel and hospitality scene.
On arrival, this hotel seems to have 3 different names, making it rather hard to work out if you're in the right place. The old pub sign says one thing, the glass on the doors of the restaurant says something different and the illuminated name above reception says something else. I appreciate the hotel is "under new management (February 2026), but getting the name/branding right will certainly help the appeal.
The hotel has rooms is two halves. One half follows one paint/decoration theme, the other another. It is a warren of rooms and corridors above and my room (66) was not on any of the signs.
The 7am Fire Alarm was not appreciated on a Sunday morning! No explanation given when I did get downstairs for breakfast later. I had got dressed and out of my room heading for the nearest fire exit within 3minutes from being asleep...at which point the alarms stopped.
Breakfast was good, a good selection of food, both hot and cold, although I heard someone ask if there were veggie sausages as an option and informed these were not available. I was disappointed to see that we were still on instant packet coffee with a hot water flask though, as instant coffee is fine for the room, but it's nice to have a decent morning brew option when having breakfast.
Excellent location. We were going to the NEC and it was only a 20 minute (non motorway) drive. View from our window was beautiful.
Disappointed with the breakfast. None of the food items seemed particularily hot. Instant coffee too.
Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and well cooked
Location was lovely. We wish the new management the best of luck with future refirbs and hope to get back one day
Laat minute booking late at night and the staff were great.
Nothing really, it is looking a bit tired and needs a lick of paint.
Staff were friendly, nice big bed
Plug socket next to one side of bed didn't work so no lamp or phone charger could be used.
Plug didn't fit in the sink so that was unusable.
Fire alarm went off just before 7am on Sunday morning!!!!
Unfortunately nothing stood out !
Rooms very dated desperately needing a revamp !
Tanisha (the receptionist) was very helpful wifh my stay, sorted my room quickly and constantly lovely! Along with the rest of the staff who were also very attentive and professional as well! My room had a fan and plenty of amenities for a comfortable stay
Bed comfy, nice touch with the wine in the room - free
The additional service charges that were never mentioned, a little sneaky I think, the food wasn't brilliant, the curry, albeit had taste, it was very watery and not much of it, steak pie was like a brick and the breakfast was cold
Friendly staff. Great food.
Maybe room to be upgraded. Otherwise excellent value.
Elevator did not work. No coffee at breakfast. Building in need of repairs. A long way away from anything.
Amazing lovely staff & excellent food and services. Room very comfortable.
Thank you 😊 🙏 💓
All good, will go back to stay.
Had to leave the room at 1am
Bed was dirty and ver bad mattress the staff tryed to move us to a different room but the door would not open so we left at 1 am to find somewhere else I'll will never be back and I demand a full refund
Very convenient for RLS, Warwick, Coventry and Solihull. Peaceful and set in beautiful English countryside. Plenty of parking. My room had a view of a beautiful meadow. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. I was upgraded on arrival and a full breakfast was included.
Nothing - it was excellent value for money and I had a really comfortable stay.
Tidy safe free parking and breakfast included
Beautiful place, highly recommend. Very good value for money
