The managers at the Belaire Motel do NOT care about their customers! I have traveled for many years and this is one of the worst motel experiences I've ever had. In the morning, a construction worker was sawing and pounding loudly outside on the back wall of my room. (He may have been replacing the A/C which was malfunctioning.) The manager said he'd tell him to stop for awhile, when I complained, but it was too late, as it was too late to get back to sleep. The light switches for the lamps were behind the bed backboards, so you couldn't find them or use them without pulling the beds out. There was no refrigerator, nothing to make coffee or tea with. The manager said they've had 6 refrigerators stolen in the past month. Really? Is that MY fault? The manager offered NO apology, rather, he made excuses and was just rude and annoyed. There was some hair in the tub and in the sink, otherwise the rooms seemed very clean. The lady cleaning the room was working very hard and was kind. The check-in woman was entirely rude and unwelcoming. The current Belaire Motel does NOT reflect Missoula! I was very disappointed.
Nothing
Too noisy and the smell of food cooking in the middle of the night
Soft bed was very comfortable.
Not a lot of lightning for the night and not enough towels for two people, we were only given one towel. When checking out early there was no front desk worker.
Nothing
We made this reservation a year in advance, and they charged my card. We arrived at the motel to find they'd given our room away and had no vacancies. They gave us keys to another room and when we entered we realized it was already occupied! Returned those keys to the office where they "didn't know what I wanted them to do for me."
Ended up at another motel begging for a room even tho they said no vacancies and they found space for us. Shout out to Motel 6! Now I have to figure out how to get my money back from Bel Aire!. Crappy motel, save yourself some pain and don't stay.
Filthy, dirty sheets, only one towel, no wash cloths, shower full of mold, sink and bath wouldn’t drain, smelled terrible. There was not one place to hang anything, no closet, no coat hooks, nothing. It was very strange.
I booked through Expedia and was charged both by Expedia and the hotel. Still waiting to hear back on my refund. The hotel was in a transition period between owners and might be partially the cause of the issues, but found the hotel to be very basic in ammenities, our TV did not work, and the floor was very dirty. The location was nice and the staff was friendly however.
It had 4 walls and a roof…
Charged a premium price for a dive with no working TV, no hot water, dirty bathroom, floors coming apart, lights not working, room didn’t even have towels in it…the things you’d expect any hotel room to have, this one seemed to be missing.
Stay was cancelled by hotels / Expedia. Allegedly the hotel was not available. Was shown as available on booking, but efforts to reach reception for confirmation of situation failed as phone calls were forwarded to voice mail which in turn was rejected „because full“. Eventually accepted hotels / Expedia offer into a rather distant alternate accommodation. Expedia promised to carry excess travel expenses (too early to tell the outcome)
Apparently they had a management situation two days before we got there. All reservations were lost. Front desk did their best given the situation. Rooms were dirty. I had to wipe everything down w/ sanitizer wipes. Floors had garbage, dog hair, & were filthy.
Pretty basic stay. The room was clean but on the small side. There was no air conditioning which would have been nice. The location was close to the downtown park and places to eat. Overall you could tell it was an old place that they made attempts to update and many looked like DIY projects that definitely were not done by a professional. It was cute but nothing fancy.
The rooms have been upgraded since I've stayed there in the 90s. The only thing that was annoying was there main lot was full, i had to ask about additional parking. The first room we were given, we opened the door and someones stuff was already in there. We had to wait for her to find an empty room. Rooms were decent and quiet but the sink didnt drain in our room.
Pulled in to find this location abandoned. Has been for several months according to someone we spoke to in town.
THIS PROPERTY IS ABANDONED ABD EVEN IF NOT IT DOES NOT MATCH PHOTOS. Dump in bad area!!
Ok
Easy check in. Room was clean and bed was super comfortable. TV had wide range of channels.
Check-in was quick and staff was really helpful. Lobby was cute. The hotel has a lot of potential. It’s been renovated and some of the changes are awesome, some not so much. Bed was comfortable, the room was warm even with ac.
Clean room with a comfortable bed. The room is smaller and it's an older place that has been partially remodeled. For the price, it's a great place to stay.
The people were very kind but due to Expedias absolute stupidity, they didn’t have a room for us. Expedia was selling rooms that didn’t exist!!
