Everything was good for our quick one-night stop
Pros:

We arrived late in the evening and stayed for one night. The room was nice and clean, and the Wi-Fi was fast. We had dinner right after checking in, and everything was delicious. The breakfasts were also excellent. We loved everything about our stay!

Pros:

Dinner in pub was good
Bed was comfortable
Bathrobes were good, could have done with slippers as floor was freezing

Cons:

No to in room, asked about it and told it had broken
Lighting in room very poor
Old rug on floor which was dirty and had holes in it
Shower water kept coming over the tray and flooding the floor
Shelf in bathroom too near the sink so you couldn’t lean over to brush your teeth
Main door outside our room kept slamming ever time someone came in

Like a wonderful countryside home
Pros:

Rooms are spacious, cozy, nicely decorated, traditional British countryside hotel. We had dinner there also, the ambiance is nice, food was good

Pros:

Perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. Having breakfast in the pub, with the fire cracking sound in the morning was delightful and made it hard to leave. Our room was at the end of the annex building, which almost felt like a cabin on its own, with only greenery visible from both windows.

Cons:

Nothing major - a few cleanliness items - rug on floor looked like it could do with a good clean.

Terrific pub stay in a beautiful village.
