Hatay Hotel Istanbul - Boutique Class

My stay in Hatay Hotel was okay, location is good, all walking distance to most attractions and transportation.
The manager Cetin, was very friendly and helpful, he allowed me to store my big luggage while I went south for a few days. However, my room was sooo tiny, I had to rearrange the bed so I could have more space for moving in the room, lest I hit my head on the TV. The bathroom was small, and showering would wet the entire floor, as there was no shower enclosure. The heating was difficult to adjust, though. The door knob was also hard to manipulate in order to lock the room from outside. The fingers could get squeezed between the door jamb and knob. Breakfast was light and simple. Altogether friendly staff in the hotel. Thanks, Cetin.

Das Hotel war total dreckig, Schimmel war an den Wänden. Die Decken waren mit gelben Flecken. Es wurde nie richtig sauber gemacht von der Putzkraft. Die Lage war sehr gut. Man konnte vieles zu Fuß erreichen. Der Herr an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in einem würde ich das Hotel aus hygienischen Gründen nicht empfehlen. Zentral ist es auf jeden Fall, aber bei mir zählt die Hygiene mehr.

The hotel is at a very good location the shops, the tram, metro all are near
The hotel itself is neat, the staff is helpful and nice
But the rooms are small, the washrooms very small

Прекрасное расположение ко многим достопримечательностям, все в шаговой доступности, или трамвай. В отеле приветливый и вежливый персонал. Нормальный завтрак. Хороший, свежий ремонт, мы так попали, отдыхали в начале февраля. Людей было мало, что очень порадовало, заселили раньше и выезд никто не подгонял. Если вернёмся в Стамбул, то точно в Hatay. Вокруг масса магазинов и общепитов, выбирать вам. Спасибо огромное за гостеприимство!

Localisation très centrale ... à 30 secondes du Marmaray !!
Hôtel dans une ptite ruelle , donc un peu à l’abri des bruits de la ville .
Service très disponible et petit déjeuner turc ok

Fint hotel til en god pris. Morgenmaden var fin, dog var der en grim lugt på toilettet (muligvis grundet fugt). Ellers super venligt og hjælpsomt personlige i receptionen.

Very friendly staff, we've really enjoyed our stay there and would stay again next time.

Personnel très accueillant et à l'écoute, niveau propreté c'est pas au top, draps taché et grosses taches de moisissures dans la douche pour notre chambre.

Nous avons passé les 9 derniers jours du mois d'avril 2019 dans de bonnes conditions. La situation géographique nous a favorisés, par la proximité des moyens de transport (tram, métro et même le train ).
Le petit déjeuner correct et le personnel serviable, avec une mention spéciale pour cetin, très aimable.
Par contre,un seul petit bémol, le nettoyage devrait être amélioré.
D'une manière générale, je recommande vivement.

We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and the downturn in the tourism economy has had an effect. The hotel lacks mod cons but is clean and comfortable and the owners are so lovely and helpful.
The location couldn't,t be better with close proximity to restaurants and bars, and all the major attractions are within walking distance or not more than 2 tram stops if you prefer to ride. There is a tram stop within 150m and travelling by tram is easy and cheap. You can catch a tram easily to many of the lesser known attractions such as the Dolmabahçe Palace, Taksim Square, the Galata Tower, the İstiklal Caddesi Tram, the university, the old city walls etc.
