Staff were friendly and said hello whenever you saw them. The heating was really good.
Was hard to find parking when we came in late at night (about 9pm) breakfast that was supposed to be included in the price was not on the booking, but the staff did fix this up.
Great location! 10 minutes away from all the attractions and activities we wanted to do in Canberra. Friendly staff and breakfast facilities were great.
Rooms were old and carpets stained, shower could have been cleaned better. Parking was hard to get at night if you went out.
Just needed a bed overnight in Canberra... Meet expectations and was a 5 min drive to some nice eating places..
TV remote was a nightmare to use and no working bedside table lamp... But we managed.
Location was good
Booked an apartment but was not provided with one. Was given two standard queen rooms. Rooms were poor, smelly and very dated. Things not clean like glasses and mugs not been washed when we arrived. Was told I had to contact Booking.com as it was their fault. Was eventually offered a partial refund and then told when went to get it processed d they knew nothing about it and I would have to come back. When was finally able to confirm I was entitled to a refund on my check out day, the receptionist said she finished at 9:30 (or was 8am) and someone else would have to process it.

Building dated, bedding linen was only flat sheets and blankets. Kitchen had no oven or dishwasher, sink in awkward position.
Travelled as 2 mums and daughters in school holidays. Staff were fantastic, would be handy to have some signs for parking - as there is a big lot at the back that people didn’t realise was there. Breakfast was good and plentiful, dinner was nice too. Need a car in this location but overall fantastic value.
The staff were exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. We received an upgrade following a request for an extra night. This meant we didn't have to move rooms during the stay.

Good stay for price
It was well priced, lobby area and pool area look like it might be nice in summer.
It was quite run down, carpets and walls very marked, kitchen not appealing to use. Bathroom very oddly renovated with miss matched glass for shower screen. Shower head leaked everywhere. I admit I didn't read reviews which I normally do, but our room didn't reflect photos on the website. I don't believe it reflects the Ibis styles name based on one's I have previously stayed in. I didn't feel comfortable with my kids being on the the carpet- seems a bit gross. The entire time we were there evening and morning there was house keeping gear in the hall way, dirty laundry, string from towels, vacuum cleaners etc, trip hazards we had to walk around. Several rooms being cleaned- they all looked out dated and grubby. There were a number of places around the same price point- I should have done better research.

Near airport. Nice staff. Good brekky. Comfy beds. Good bar and lounge area. Overall good value and enjoyed stay.
Some areas visibly dirty, like carpets in corridors very dirty.
