All in all a good, comfortable stay.
Pros:

Location was wood

Cons:

1. Hot & cold water taps were mixed up. Bit dangerous.
2. Stood at bar at Happy Hr and noone came near us so walked to German Club 7mins around cnr.

Pros:

The property is very tired and in need of a refresh.
The shower was mouldy, curtains were ill-fitting which allowed light in.
The Air Conditioning was barely effective in the -2 and -3 temperatures experienced overnight.

Comfortable value for money with full buffet
Pros:

Comfortable bed, good restaurant for dinner that also had a full buffet for breakfast. Rooms were accessed internally with a security door to get into the building.

Cons:

Quilt needed an upgrade, had some stains and yellowing.

Pros:

The staff are amazing. The lication is great as I work near the airport. Great value for money.

Amazing we travel up 6 weekly and this will be our place to stay ! Thank you

The whole stay was fabulous from the exceptional service on check in with Erin who was friendly and professional but also very personable and welcoming and addressed me each time we visited the foyer or the restaurant by name, that is amazing service there showing a genuine care in her profession . The restaurant and bar staff were very accomodating and friendly after a long day we guests had and the dinner was amazing and the breakfast Buffett was delicious. Rooms were spotless.

Cons:

The only small suggestion would be extra pillows in the rooms! I travelled with teenagers who somehow need multiple pillows to sleep! No criticism just a small observation!

If the bedding was better and there was a door snake to stop the draft I think this would be good central spot to stay.
Pros:

I liked the location, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice.

Cons:

The bedding and pillow were very thin, only given 1 pillow. Nil extra bedding in the cupboard. There was a cold draft under the door so had to roll up a towel to put under the door to stop it. The air conditioner wasn’t working well, wasn’t comfortable to sleep, had to wear a full track suit and 2 jumpers plus woollen socks to bed to be warm enough.

Ibis Syles good value
Pros:

I spent a pleasant three days at the Ibis Syles Canberra. Although I found the hotel quite dated, the staff were very polite and helpful. No doubt, it was good value for money I paid, will most certainly come back.
