Hotel du Centre Nautique

On the face of it, this ‘hotel’ is fabulously positioned - once you have found the way into its car park!
And if you are fit and younger than us (80) it’s good. But It’s not really a hotel. Four very large apartments, one end double bed, the other sofa bed. Curtain between. V good a/c etc. Two loo’s. Two showers. One totally useless bath. And a small kitchenette.
Very noisy Saturday night from bar/live music opposite till v late.

Third floor room. Bags carried for us.
No lift.

No lounge area.
No outside sun space.

Do get Petit Train into citadel.
Do make use of sister Hotel Genovese in citadel (fabulous lunch, pool, terrace spa etc)

Wonderful place, wonderful views from the room, wonderful breakfast. Everything perfect!

Incredible location and overall a very nice property. Our suite was very large with a small kitchen. Right in the center of the marina with tons of shops and restaurants a few minute away by foot. Private parking right outside of the building. No elevator and no bellman so if you have a lot of large bags it’s something to consider. Pool is at another property a 10 minute drive away, but available if you have a car. 9.5/10

Bit of an odd hotel to be honest. Rooms are modern and massive, with a great view of the harbour. Despite the rooms being newly reneovated (I think) they were already in need of some maintenance. The hotel's location is perfect. Service was however a bit patchy, with reception at times not following through on request (like booking a taxi for a specific time). Breakfast was limited but okay.

Fantastic hotel, incredible room, huge, amazing view across the harbour. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Great that it has a sister hotel up in the old town with a pool, again a beautiful place with the most wonderful views. We had dinner in both hotels, food was excellent, they even drove us back to the Centre Nautique from Hotel Genoese.

Hotel room was massive and well equipped with a very impressive view of the harbour. However some things needed some maintenance, such as broken shower tiles. You get 3 coat hangers in a large wardrobe. For the hefty price, we expected it to be perfect.
You have to be very fit to climb two sets of stairs up to the second floor as there is no lift.
Breakfast was very expensive and the friendly member of staff hadn’t actually ever prepared some of the things we asked for. However, what a beautiful view across the harbour for having a lazy breakfast. One of the receptionists didn’t speak much English so communicated with her was difficult.
The rooftop restaurant wasn’t open when we went in May, which was disappointing.
Although dog friendly, there isn’t any grass for the dog to do its business so you have to cross a busy road for the nearest patch.
At weekends, the music from the bar on the opposite side of the harbour was extremely loud and bassy and went on until the early hours of the morning. So if you’re a light sleeper, be prepared with your earplugs! Not the fault of the hotel but something to be aware of.
Overall, it was a pleasant enough stay but I felt that the room was overpriced.

We stayed at the apartment and hotel Centre Nautique in Bonifacio. Catherine at the front desk is a unique magnificent woman who helped us in every way, from guiding us to which places to stay, how to go, booking restaurants, always ready with a warm welcoming smile.
She is a special person who is kind hearted, and true brand ambassador of Corsican hospitality.
Deeply grateful for all her love and help to us making our holiday at Bonifacio truly special.

Great place to stay

We stayed in one of the four hotel rooms in the main building of the hotel. This room is HUGE and modern with a separate living and kitchen area and a large bedroom with an amazing king bed. We have never seen such a big hotel room in all of Europe!!! The room is modern and fully updated. The kitchen has a sink, a very big refrigerator, and a microwave. The bathroom (actually there are two bathrooms with two toilets and two sinks) was clean and modern and the shower was amazing, although it took a while to get hot water. Once the hot water was flowing, it was perfect with tons of flow. And the bathtub, it is so big we never used it because we figured it would take forever to fill up. The bedroom could be cordoned off from the living area via a large curtain that would slide across the room, but we never used it. The bed was very comfortable with an assortment of pillows to choose from. The view from the bedroom was amazing, right on the marina with views of the town across the way and the old town way to the left.
We never ate breakfast here, a bit expensive. We just went to the market across the marina and got fresh croissants, Corsican honey and yoghurt, juices, and fruit to start our day, given it had a great kitchen.
The rooftop bar is not really a rooftop bar, more like a terrace, but it was nice with decent food and expensive drinks. One night they had live music and we could hear it from our room.
The staff were all very friendly. Sammy was especially nice and helped us with food recommendations in town and things to do during the day.
The only real drawback with this place, and I am sure most places in town, is that the nightclub across the way called B52’s, plays very loud music every night and they really crank up the music late at night. I had to wear my earplugs to avoid hearing the loud music.
Everything else was perfect.

This was a perfect weekend stay by the side of Bonifacio marina. Convinient location to explore old town with the citadellle and private parking makes trips to the beaches easy.

This property is the place to stay in Bonifaccio. The rooms are huge, modern, luxurious, clean and in the heart of the port.

The staff was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend we wish we stayed here longer.

Highly recommend this Hotel with its convenient location to dining, port and of course Bonifacio. The suite itself was clean and spacious for a family of four. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay.

BEWARE. This so-called 5-star hotel should be avoided. Following a two-night stay in late May 2023, our experiences left us disappointed and frustrated. The problems began on the day of our arrival with a steady stream of ants in the bathroom of the master suite, which we had reserved. In addition, breakfast was more aligned to what one would expect from a third-rate youth hostel. Further, there were no premium, international news channels; which as international travelers, we value. Although the hotel sought to resolve the issue of the ants, it was merely a precursor to what would become a much larger issue: a lack of hot water. Unfortunately, this latter issue occurred on the morning of our departure and prior to our needing to catch an international flight. Not only did the hotel fail to resolve the issue in a timely manner, but they sought to compensate us with the offer of a drink upon our next visit; which obviously will never occur as a result of this experience. In short, this establishment believes in 5-star pricing, not 5-star service. Needless to say, at a nightly rate north of 500 euros (including breakfast), it’s not what we expected.
