A great place for an Istanbul short break
Pros:

Very good as a place for a group as convenient for transport, restaurants and all the attractions of Beyoglu. The staff were very helpful, though one evening there was no staff presence which proved inconvenient.

Great value for money
Pros:

The location was great and quiet at night with double glazing. Black mould around base of shower was off putting thou the shower was clean. Wifi not strong in my room but good in lobby and terrace. Roof terrace lovely for breakfast on a good day! Staff friendly and helpful.

Good deal 5 min from Galata Tower
Pros:

I really liked this hotel. Love the area which has tons of bars and cafes. The hotel staff were very helpful and the room itself, while a bit small, had plenty of space when you take into account where it was located. It also had an awesome roof deck where you could go up and have drinks or take breakfast with a breathtaking view of the Bosphorus. At the price, it was more than I could ask for.

A nice hotel that needs a facelift
Pros:

My wife and I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and we had a wonderful experience then. At that time, the hotel was in very good condition. Now, the hotel suffers from peeling paint, ripped carpets, drawers falling apart. It needs some work. Having said that, the hotel staff is wonderful, the room is very comfortable, the breakfast is lovely and the view from the top cannot be beat.

Review Istanbul Suite Home Galata Hotel
Pros:

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Istanbul Suite Galata Home Hotel in late July for for nights. The staff was friendly, English speaking, helpful and attentive to my every need. It is located one block from the Galata Tower in a quaint historic hilly section of Istanbul. The rooms are small, but have everything you need. The small narrow four story hotel has a roof top terrace with amazing views of the Bosphorous River, the Asian continent and the old city center in the distance. It does require a 10 minute hilly climb and or descent to public transportation on a cobblestone street, but cabs are also an option. When I return to Istanbul, I will definitely stay at the hotel again.
