Umkehrpunkt auf unserem Motorradtrip.
Pros:

Italien! Richtiger Cappuccino zum Frühstück.
Frisch gepresster Orangensaft zum Frühstück.
Ein äusserst reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet.
Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel, direkt neben dem Casino.
Angenehme Klimaanlage in den Zimmern, nicht zu kalt eingestellt. Elektrische Verdunkelungsstoren die den Namen verdienen.

Cons:

Nur öffentliche Parkplätze für die Motorräder, aber dafür ist man ja mit einem ABUS Kettenschloss ausgerüstet.

A 19th c building deserving of its 4 stars
Pros:

The room was exactly what we liked, the bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and the service on all levels was perfect. Special mention to Alessia who runs the spa and practically all its services. She's calm, professional, kind and very good at her job. We loved the lymphatic massages and the manicure. The breakfast room is bright and pretty and the buffet is extra delicious with choices for everyone and very good choices too. The service there is quick and thoughtful. It's central to every activity in Sanremo, so very well situated. The parking they recommend is a 10.min walk at best but VERY secure.

Cons:

There's nowhere to lounge away from the rooms, except the huge entrance lobby with the front desk which is light but uninviting or the "bar". I would have used the front desk room for a nice sitting room and eliminated the bar entirely and made that smaller space into the front desk/concierge area. It's on a busy road but we had a quiet room. However it's practically impossible to park your car as it's at a crossroads. Not great if you have luggage for 3 weeks.

Great location
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in May 2026. The hotel is in a great location just at the end of the main street and across the street from the sea. Close to the Casino and the bars, restaurants and shops. It is directly in front of the Coptic Church which you can view from the glass wall in the lift. I had booked a junior suite with sea view and requested a suite with the balcony that you could sit out on (some only have balconies that you can stand on but not big enough for chairs) as it was my husband's birthday and this request was granted (Room 204). I had also booked Champagne to be brought to the room on the morning of my husband's birthday and this was delivered with some pastries.

Breakfast was ample and suited us.

The room was spacious but basic. There is no Nespresso machine however there is a kettle and tea and instant coffee - unusual for Italy. The SKY Gold package that is advertised on their website is not in English. When we asked we were told only the News Channels are in English. As we were there for 7 nights we had to sign in to our streaming service in order to watch any English language channels that weren't News. The bathroom was spacious with a good modern shower.

We felt the website was somewhat misleading. There is NO bar, lounge or restaurant at this hotel. The bar is only available for breakfast as is the restaurant. There are photos on the website of a couple enjoying a drink at the bar - this is not possible. We arrived early and the room was not ready so we said we would go to the bar only to be told there is no bar. This hotel felt very much like a large Bed and Breakfast rather than a fully serviced hotel. I wanted to put some laundry in mid -stay but no laundry available at the weekend and as it was a national holiday on Tuesday 2nd June the 1st and 2nd were not available either so I couldn't get our laundry done. There was no suggestion of another option - an offsite laundry for instance.

We had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs as there was no concierge to help us. We saw a guy there in the late afternoons only.

This hotel is on the main road so traffic noise is inevitable but once the windows are closed it was fine. There are also blackout blinds.

There is a market across the road on a Saturday and Tuesday. The Flixbus stop is directly across the road.

This hotel has old world charm and is clean and comfortable.

I have listed our personal pros and cons but this may vary with others personal preferences.

Perfekt beliggenhet, god frokost og rent og fint rom!

Cons:

Jeg likte så og si alt, et lite minus var at de ikke hadde roomservice og restaurant/bar, og ingen kaffemaskin på rommet.
