From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Amazing staff, Large Comfortable rooms
The hotel has a beautiful and luxurious atmosphere, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. This is something I truly appreciate during my stay.
However, I was quite disappointed with several aspects of the service.
The sahur meal had very limited options and the food quality was not satisfactory. I have previously had breakfast at this hotel and the food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, this time the experience was very different. Even requesting a simple half-boiled egg was not possible as there were no staff available to assist. I understand it is the fasting month, but service standards should still reflect the reputation of a luxury hotel.
I also requested my room to be cleaned while I was out for a meeting, but when I returned, the used cups were still not washed and the ironing board was left out instead of being properly stored.
In addition, the table was not wiped, and the cleaning cloth used by housekeeping was left inside the room. This was quite surprising and not what I would expect from a hotel of this standard.
Lastly, the bedsheet had visible stains, which was very disappointing.
I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and improve the service quality so that it truly matches the hotel's reputation and expectations of its guests.
