Pros:

La chambre en rez-de-chaussée avec un petit salon extérieur. La piscine semi-olympique . L'accueil et la possibilité de garer la voiture à côté de la chambre . La vue sur l'Etna .

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen, wir hatten Halbpension gebucht.
Außerdem hatten wir einen tollen Blick auf den Ätna.

Pros:

Receptie was zeer behulpzaam en de tip om de Etna met een 4x4 te bezoeken was top. Restaurant was ok. Wij waren met twee koppels en één kamer was veel kleiner. De receptie zorgde ervoor dat dit aangepast werd en we beiden in een even grote kamer zaten. Stella Artois aan de bar, top.

Cons:

De strandstoelen zijn betalend. Niet zo erg want eind mei was de strandbar nog niet opgesteld.

Pros:

Breakfast has improved since my last visit, but the juice machine was broken for my whole stay, and the provision of juice in jugs was patchy to say the least.

Il personale sia di sala colazione che del ristorante è stato molto cordiale, educato e disponibile.
Sempre pronti a dare un consiglio, a soddisfare una richiesta (ovviamente sensata) ed a scambiare due parole
Il cibo è di buona qualità sia come pizze che come cucina

Cons:

tecnicamente è un 4* ma la struttura è rimasta in alcuni aspetti un 3* a gestione familiare
Arredamenti delle stanze molto datati, aria condizionata non funzionante (probabilmente non ancora attivata a livello centralizzato), l'unica cosa per provare a contrastare il caldo era la ventilazione che, però, è incredibilmente rumorosa.
Purtroppo in sala ristorante tra tv accese e musica alta, non c'è molta tranquillità.

We have stayed in 2-star hotels that were significantly better than this one.
Pros:

Pool is nice.

Cons:

The bedding was terrible. The duvet had no cover, and one of the beds had a very old blanket (brown with patterns, probably more than 30 years old) covered only with a sheet.

The rooms clearly have not been renovated for a very long time. The bathrooms were outdated as well. Although there was hot water in the shower, the water pressure was extremely weak, so showering was very slow and uncomfortable.

Overall, this was a huge disappointment for a 4-star hotel. The hotel obviously prioritizes renting its facilities for events. One day we were not even able to use the pool area because of an event, and the next day breakfast was no longer buffet-style — they simply brought a few items to the table.
