It sufficed as a pass-through stop but wouldn’t care to stay there for longer.
Pros:

The view from the room across the river was very beautiful, especially at sunset.

Cons:

That there was no staff or reception to greet us, even though we arrived at 4 pm or shortly thereafter.

I will have to request a garden aspect room every time now
Pros:

I stay here at lease three times per year on my way back from QLD and have been doing so for four years. I like the position of the property beside the river, the proximity to the tavern and the comfortable rooms. The convenience of being not far off the freeway also helps.

Cons:

No one was manning reception when I arrived just before 1400hrs but the keycards were in an envelope on the counter. I was allocated room 14 which does not open out onto the gardens. The room itself was the same as the others but the position was not as attractive as the others and there was no one to talk to about this. I would also like to mention that single ply toilet paper is below par for this property and is a false economy. The toilet seat was new but not of the same quality as the one it would have replaced.

Great place to stop if travelling up or down the coast !
Pros:

The location is excellent right on the river, no need to use car as the local tavern is right next door with great food.

The place could have been built with better flow through air.

Repeat Visit
Pros:

Harrington River Lodge is always a lovely stay. Quick access from the highway, lots of local places to get a meal and not too far from the actual town of Harrington. Love the beer garden of the pub next door. The golf club has a nice lake view for breakfast. We were in for sunset so got a lovely river view to relax into the evening.

Cons:

I am seeing a growing trend in rooms not providing microwaves - sometimes it is nice to reheat coffee ect. I would also love a nice coffee on waking up, without going downtown.

Pros:

Greta location, pub next door is great and has a playground for the kids, nearby to the local IGA, if you have time to pop up to Crowdy head lighthouse it is great at sunset. Bathroom has a nice big tub, beds were comfy and rooms are spacious

Convenient, comfortable quiet accommodation.
Pros:

Room was spacious and very clean.
A peaceful relaxing vibe of the resort located beside the river.
Close to the Shoreline Tavern for meals or to the Golf Club for breakfast.

Cons:

Lighting at night in the carpark with two light poles wasn't working.
A narrow bench surround of the bathroom basin.
Lounge against the wall was in the wrong position to watch TV.
Courtyard timber looked dirty.
