The breakfast was fine - everything I needed was there. I didn't order off the menu.
Personal attention and welcome.
Beautiful surroundings.
Very large comfortable room.
The coffee pot was too small and splattered everywhere when I pushed the plunger down.
There was no Body Lotion in the room.
Was unable to operate the EV charger, but this was not operated by the hotel. Required signing up to a new app. Fortunately I have a hibrid car.
Location is lovely, very quiet and peaceful. The hotel is stunning. The staff were super friendly and efficient. The Spa is lovely, especially the sauna and pool which both look out onto the pond and grounds.
Only one slight negative was when sat in the jacuzzi, looking out, you could see a broken piece of equipment outside, looked like a heater that was for the bin. It didn't spoil anything but given everything else was so, on point, it was a minor oversight.
The parking and location
The rooms on the ground floor were inconvenient for privacy as people would walk past outside often. The lighting in the room was dull and could have done with bigger and brighter lights. A twin room has two single beds together which made it uncomfortable to sleep on and the tv didn’t work properly
Exceeded expectations, great value for money.
Nothing.
The staff, the comfortable bedrooms and the dining room
That you had to pay extra for the spa
Great building, beautiful garden, comfortable beds.
Insects in the room, I almost stepped on a big bee barefoot. Found another dead one next to the window ( it was there for quite some time.
Nice and quiet
Nice place, bedroom lovely and spacious. Handy for the Beardwood hospital which is why we stayed.
Food was excellent.
Restaurant looked ‘tired’
Tables would have been better with tablecloths as they weren’t in the best condition.
Had 2 hour Thermal spa journey, very good apart from not enough relaxation beds and people leaving towels on the beds whilst in the pool part then not using them afterwards.
Very comfortable room. We upgraded to the Manor House. Well worth it. Dinner was excellent food-wise but the bill was loaded with a service charge which I personally take as an insult. The SC is for the customer to decide, not the vendor to levy.
The bar area was small and uninviting. No cask ales. Didn’t make for a relaxing pre-dinner hour.
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable.
