The staff are outstanding and it is an okay hotel to stay in - however we felt the price is incredibly high for the quality of the hotel.

Had an amazing stay here. Convenient location to both Quesop and Manuel Antonio via local bus or taxi. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bonus to have a little kitchenette area with a microwave, coffee machine and fridge. Lovely pool and rainforest view from the balcony. Managed to see some wildlife whilst relaxing by the pool including, sloths, toucans and monkeys. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was tasty too

I really liked this place! We had the largest room — very clean, neat, and comfortable. The room has a sliding door that opens to a small private patio and swimming pool, which was a great bonus.

The only issue was the shower water temperature — it didn’t stay consistent and would fluctuate between very hot and cold.

Other than that, great reception, excellent breakfast, easy parking, and very close to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

I had an amazing time. It’s not located near restaurants or stores so you have to uber or have a rental car.

Very nice stay. Beautiful jungle and pool right in backyard. Front desk very helpful and nice. Room had a view of jungle terrace. A separator between 2 beds. Small fridge and microwave. Popcorn and milk in room. Breakfast great and very kind staff. Had breakfast to go ready at 6:30am for us as requested so could leave for excursion early morning. Convenient location off main road.

Beautiful property. We were able to sit outside our room and see all sorts of wildlife. Sloth, iguana, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, Scarlet Macaws. It was fantastic. Service was amazing and food was delicious.

I was traveling with my 20 year old son for spring break. Overall, Hotel Plaza Yara was a very nice place to stay. The staff was professional, attentive and helpful. The daily breakfast was plentiful and quite tasty -- fresh fruit, eggs, plantains, rice and beans, toast, banana pancakes -- lots of choices! The coffee was delicious and is served with hot milk -- the best. My only disappointment with this property is that it's located on a very busy, narrow, winding road with little to no "shoulder" which makes walking anywhere nearly impossible. We had a rental car so we could get where we needed to go, but I would have preferred to be able to walk to some places. Reviews I read in advance of booking indicated that walking to restaurants was possible, but I would disagree, unless you don't fear for your safety. Cars drive fast, buses and trucks are frequent and the roads are very narrow.

Hotel Plaza Yara is located in front of the natural vegetation. We had a lovely room and kitchen area was over looking garden and thick jungle type of vegetation. We saw monkey jumping of the roof area. We were very please with the staff response for ur needs etc.
