Pros:

Reception are very helpful, they even upgraded my room to seaview.
I love this location, quiet and calm. Also many tour can pick up from this hotel.

Cons:

The breakfast was almost same every day as i have stayed for 6days...The quality was bad i would say. I doubt the staff even don't their own morning coffee. I had several times with slightly spoiled fruit...And the last breakfast I even found a lot ants in the milk....The bacon was always tasted weird....I recommend people book here without breakfast(not worth money)

Pros:

A quite charming hotel with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The room was clean and spacious, and the food was decent — all the essentials were covered. It’s about an hour’s walk from the centre of Funchal, with the beach just a short distance away.

This hotel is not for those seeking a sleek, modern, minimalist aesthetic — it leans more towards traditional charm and character.

The view from the window was stunning 🤩
Definitely recommend.

Cons:

One thing worth mentioning — the pillows could do with replacing. There’s also a common issue found in many hotels: two single beds pushed together and presented as a double.
