Es un poco antiguo como todo en esta localidad pero tiene una habitación muy grande, excelente baño y está muy bien calefaccionado

Pros:

Large comfortable room - very good en suite and shower. The only staff member we saw, who seemed to be doing everything, was friendly and helpful. Parking right outside room.

Cons:

More a motel than a hotel which has all the signs of being in financial difficulty. Grounds are really scruffy and the place looks a mess. Restaurant/bar apparently closed permanently. Reception only open limited hours. Our TV didn't work and sign on bedroom wall said aerial was broken. Why not fix it we thought! Very overpriced as it is now. Having said all that, our room was great and we had a comfortable stay. Pity really; the place has plenty of potential.

Owners of this hotel need to get their act together. Great staff trying to keep place going

Didn't meet our expectations
Pros:

Parking was great. Nice enough outlook and away from any noisy areas. On the road to Lake Matheson which was well worth seeing. Room and bathroom were roomy enough and dark enough to sleep.

Cons:

Room definitely needed a refurb. Blow waver had tape across it, so as to not to use it. TV didn't work because of some aerial problem. Lid of toilet seat leaning on bathroom wall and toilet seat a bit loose - there was a sign to be careful with this. The grounds of the hotel looked like they needed some TLC. Microwave and toaster on a table outside on the veranda with a cord going inside. Wasn't sure whether these were available to use or waiting to be thrown out.

Disappointing!
Pros:

This accommodation is falsely advertised; it is not a hotel it did not provide food and drink. We occupied 2 rooms. In both some things were good, some were appalling.
A tired looking rectangle of buildings with high weeds in the center of the gravel car park., and an unused wing which had once been a restaurant. We struggled to find the entrance to our room which was not signed and was hidden by 2 large linen trolleys. We shared a large clean room with a comfortable bed and comfortable leather chairs. The shower was good. The television was not working, nor were the bed side lights. There was only cold water in the kitchen sink, 1 teaspoon, 2 forks and a bottle opener, 4 glasses and 2 cups and saucers, no knives or plates. A sign in reception suggested that guests strip their bed linen when leaving.
The second room with 2 beds, had a plastic lavatory seat that was cracked across the middle. The split was covered with 2 pads which could have been sanitary napkins or tissues, bound with tape. The seat was insecure and could be lifted off.
The toilet paper ran out, and there were no spare rolls. Like the other room there was a reminder "Please note the television is currently not working due to a broken tv antenna. we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding," By the look of the signs they had been there a considerable time.
We would not recommend this accommodation. It is not a hotel; it does not provide food or drink and is some distance from the township. It is not value for money.
