Niets. Het was heel slecht en super onpersoonlijk

Cons:

Brandalarm ging s nachts af maar personeel was in geen velden of wegen te bekennen. Geen ondersteuning of uitleg, op geen enkele manier. Er zal maar echt iets zijn
...In ieder geval gezakt voor calamiteiten.
Geen welkom, geen gedag, geen dank je wel en of we wel de bedden even wilden afhalen bij vertrek. Nou mooi niet.

Pleased we visited Fox area, but this venue needs re-equipping and restoration.
Pros:

Cons:

Run down, with neither a hotel nor full motel facilities. No fridge in room.

Good for a short stay
Pros:

Beautiful views from our windows. Quite place. Within walking distance of local restaurants. Plenty of parking outside. Spacious room.
Only 30 min drive to franz joseph

Cons:

Restaurant and bar permanently closed. Washing facilities were broken but we recognise that guests can be heavy handed with these things.

The exterior was run down and depressing. The manager(?) was unfriendly.

The toilet seat was completely broken, and there was a sign on the wall asking us to put up with the fault.

Awful and dissatisfied accommodation
Pros:

Walking distance to the local eateries, as the onsite restaurant is closed.

Cons:

Room 18 was smelly, water leaking from bathroom shower into bedroom, carpet in doorway was soaking wet. Staff was aware of it and didn't offer to change rooms, nothing was done about it after asking for owner/ manager.
No other room available. No TV or streaming service, there was no reception. Staff was aware of it.
No bedside tables or shelves.
Noisy from neighbours.

It was very clean.
Pros:

It was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The room was easy to access and parking was not too difficult

Cons:

Visually it was a mess. Weeds and long grass everywhere. There was a toaster and microwave available but they were outside on a deck with a plug out the window.

we enjoyed our stay.

clean and tidy nicely laid out staff were helpful and obliging

Cons:

Unable to get TV to work,bad mouldy smell which appeared to be coming from the bathroom, the shower cubicle leaked severely which appeared to be not properly sealed, this possibly is why the smell is so bad the water appears to have got under the vinyl and the partitioning wall.

Disappointing and over priced.

Fox glacier village.

Cons:

On arrival to the hotel the exterior was overgrown and neglected. One of the signs was broken. The restaurant and bar had obviously been closed down for a long time. Our room - the bed cover was stained/soiled. The toilet seat was broken in half and taped together with plastic bags. I mentioned the broken seat and was given a polite sorry. The sheets and towels were fresh and clean. The fridge was dirty. No utensils. We were booked for two nights - the room wasn’t serviced. The area is busy where accommodation and catering is in demand. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, approximately 1 mile walk to village for food/staples.
