Fox glacier is really beautiful and this accommodation was a good home base while I was there.
Pros:

Toilet seat came off, I think the out door area needs some grooming.

Die Lage war ok. Es war auch einigermassen sauber.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist in einem Zustand der Vernachlässigung. Die Zimmer sind extrem aufdringlich parfümiert. einige der Lampen funktionierten nicht. Es gab nur eine Minimalausstattung. Es gab einen Toaster für das ganze Hotel und der stand draussen. Unappetitlicer und dreckiger geht nicht.

The best part about this stay was definitely the staff
Pros:

The staff are amazing…. My partner and I got food poisoning and the staff helped me book another room for the night when rooms in the area were scarce.

Cons:

Our second room had no fans and the tv didn’t work

Great Staff, Great Bed, Facilities could be better
Pros:

The hotel was more of a motel but that was fine. The bed was super comfy and we had restricted views of the mountains.

Cons:

The fridge didn’t work very well, the internet was patchy and we couldn’t get the Netflix service to work on the television. Because people are allowed to park directly in front of their room, and patio doors open onto the parking area, we were woken by very early risers starting up their cars. But these are quibbles rather than complaints. The room served our purposes, and the visit to the Fox Glacier and the Franz Joseph Glacier were the highlights of a fabulous holiday - yes, better even than Milford Sound!

Pros:

Beautiful location, big room with everything provided, good bathroom with nice shower. Convenient parking. Exceptional view even from the room/bed. Absolutely stunning location!

Die Lage war oke, etwas ausserhalb und ruhig.

Cons:

Grundsätzlich in die Jahre gekommen und ich hatte schmutzige Bettwäsche. Eklige Flecken die übel ausgesehen haben (ich gehe mal davon aus dass das Zeug schon gewaschen wurde ...) Aber naja, schmutzige Wäsche gehört entsorgt und nicht auf das Bett der Gäste!
Leider war die Reception nicht besetzt und ich konnte vor Ort nichts unternehmen, so habe ich im Schlafsack übernachtet!

Toilette war ebenfalls nicht sauber und die Tassen hatten Rückstände.

Zimmerreinigung blieb aus, alsi ich abends jeweils zurückkehrte war alles wie ich es verlassen hatte!

Klar, es ist kein 5-Stern Hotel, aber sauber darf und soll es trotzdem sein!

Schade, ich würde da nicht mehr hingehen!

Pros:

Nothing, was a nightmare since we got there. Paid full price for 4 people and only place for 3 people to sleep. The room was extremely hot 🥵 and the toilet seat wasn't fitted and risk for sliding off the toilet. My adult daughter slept on the floor, really after speaking to the Manager on the phone, she didn't want to list to what my husband was saying. There were no that was available to go to in Fox glacier. We had to stay but left the next morning early. This is not a hotel but a dump. Not recommend it to anyone and shouldn't be on trivago. We rate it minus 10
