Soundproofing: 2/10 (can’t hear traffic but can hear noisy people in the hallway + karaoke until midnight every night)
Blockout curtains: Yes, exceptionally dark.
Comments: You cannot flush toilet paper and have to put it in a bin. Hopefully you’re travelling solo or are very comfortable with your travel partner/s, however that doesn’t negate the fact the bin has held other peoples toilet paper with urine and feces on it. There was also a massive karaoke party on the first night we arrived that could be heard clear as day in the room and did not cease until just after 11pm despite being a Tuesday night. We would not stay here again. You cannot leave the fan or aircon on whilst you are away. This makes the room smell musty, and impossible to dry clothes.

This is my first time to stay at Dara Hotel Phuket. Certainly, all the staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful with smile. The breakfast is good and decent with western and eastern food. The room I stay in, it is clean, spacious, and tidy with speedy Wi-Fi.
Also, the swimming pool is large, clean and comfortable. The interior design of Dara Hotel is stylish and lovely.

It only takes 1 minute walk to the convivence store from the Dara Hotel, and 10 minutes' walk to Central Phuket shopping Mall. If I visit Phuket City again, I would like to stay at Dara Hotel.

Best hotel and service near Phuket old town, spacious rooms and affordable , very clean and service is top, from the moment you enter this hotel you will be warmly welcomed , I was welcomed by Surasak at the reception a very kind man and professional gentleman , thanks to him for making my first impression last till the end of my stay

Staff are useless. A lady slid on water dripping from the air con units in the breakfast hall and broke her ribs. The staff didn’t have a clue what to do. Me and my partner had to help her and the staff just stood around flapping.
There must be over a hundred people at any one time staying there is only 5! Yes 5!!! Sun beds by the pool. People are laying on the floor, sitting on towels and complaining also.
The breakfast is rubbish, raw eggs, raw omelette, chicken porridge, and you have to ask for butter. When it arrives it’s frozen !
I wouldn’t recommend staying more than two days max

Amazing management, extremely helpful. Hotel was amazing, location was great . Management was patient , helpful and gave us the best solution possible for the problem we were facing. The food was also amazing, we were served really good breakfast food at the cafe located inside the hotel

Mr Gem was very helpful and he is a very nice and good person.He helped us with everything and speaks very good english.Thank you so much for everything…The food is good and the hotel is nice.I reccomend it and would come again.Everything was good.

Poor room service, cleaning staff don’t know their job, leave dirty cups in the room, never provide clean unless you keep on reminding. We were there for 2 week, same breakfast every day :( . Pool hygiene was not the best! Location wise it was good.

Centrally located but far from patong beach.

personalet var flinke og hjælpsomme, dog ingen baggage service , morgen var god og god service.
trænings centret har set bedre dage kun ca. 30% kunne benyttes resten var i udo eller bare i dårlig stand.
poolen og pool området var fint både for børn og voksende.

Nach den Fotos sind wir von einem schönen, gehobeneren Hotel ausgegangen. Das Zimmer war auch in Ordnung, aber das Hotel liegt an einer 6 spurigen Straße und der nächtliche Verkehrslärm war unerträglich. Frühstück war gut. Ansonsten wirkt das Hotelgelände, außer in der Empfangshalle, heruntergekommen, schmutzig und ungepflegt. Bis 15 Uhr fand noch keine Zimmerreinigung statt, die Putzwagen stehen immer auf den Fluren rum. Alles wirkt liederlich. Wir würden das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

standard och väldigt otrevlig personal, inte serviceinriktade alls vilket helt går emot allt annat bemötande vi fått i Thailand någonsin.

The staff was kind and friendly. The property was old but OK, hoped 7-11 was nearby.

Cannot believe this hotel generates guests. The hallways are filthy and the pool area is so untidy often having guests making shouting noises after 1030pm. The lift is like a dustbin and was never clean the days we regrettably stayed The breakfast is a joke serving cold greasy food. Saying that the coffee is good. Had a couple of issues with the room which the receptionist ignored including the TV not working and the safe in the room having been pulled away from the wall. We were informed that was common practice in Phuket…..absolute rubbish!! We and non of my friends will stay in this joke of a hotel again.

Clean and simple hotel. We stayed in several hotels in the area and for the price this one was quite accommodating and well located.

The only cons are: you hear everything in your hallways, can’t keep the room cold with out leaving your key inserted.(it takes quite a while to cool the room down when you get back for the day) and the pool is quite gross a lot of things floating in it and the surface shows a lot of oils floating. We didn’t see it cleaned once in 10 days.

The smell of the room was awful and we told reception and they didn’t move us to a different room. The desk weren’t friendly at all or welcoming. Breakfast wasn’t great either. Overall really disappointed and i wouldn’t recommend.
